    Gotta love Late Republican Rome. So much happening over such a short period of time. Loved that you highlighted structures from that period that wouldn't necessarily be so obvious to people visiting Rome.

    I read that Pompey broke with tradition by naming the building after himself. Up to then it was considered too regal to do such a thing. Maybe that is why Marius seems to have such little legacy in the fabric of Rome.
