Great video! When installing the pop rivets through the roof, you should put sealer/silicone on the rivet head, and install from the top. Seals easier, and much better appearance.
I recently started a job attending golfcarts.they showed me how to connect a carstereo but I quickly forgot.lol.but your video just brushed me up and I'm ready for my golfcart stereo test tomorrow.thank you.
How is the pay?? I would like to have a job working on golf carts...
Great video and im sure there is always other ways of doing things but as for the rivets, Argh!! Wouldn't it be better to use pan head screws and nuts for a cleaner installation? Also make it easier to seals the roof from rain.
great video... but the audio is a bit jumpy in the beginning
I would have liked to have seen how wires get ran under cart and how they were fastened.
Where can I get one of those antenna? Great video 👍
Where did you buy that bare overhead unit at ? Thanks! I want 1
I have a Yamaha YDRA and it's a 2007 why cant I find any videos on it? I only see videos on the g series golf carts
Good video, I really enjoyed that. Question for you. I have 6 batteries that are 6 volts each. How would I make the battery connection to the stereo? My cart is an EZ Go. Thanks.
The best way to connect you stereo is to install a Voltage Converter to drop your battery packs total voltage from 36 volts to 12 volts. If you want to just connect to the batteries you already have, put the Positive Cable from your stereo on the FIRST Battery Positive and the Negative Cable from your stereo on the SECOND Battery Negative. You can verify before installation by checking the voltage between the two connections to make sure you have the right two post.
If you install this stereo to a 12v system, will it always be on and drain the battery?
I'd wire it to the ignition so that it doesn't turn on until the key turns.
@@teamhex it would lose memory if you do that
Can I buy the overhead unit. With out radio n speakers? Please answer
Yes you can buy them anywhere
Thanks
I dont like the pop rivet washer system at all.
Pop rivets are great, they don't rust and are easily removed. I've used them in the construction industry for years
