I have this set and there are a couple of places where they do this. As your building it you wonder why an airplane wing is being used as a floor board in a castle.
The Lego Optimus Prime is $180, but totally worth it imo. It's big, fun to build, actually transforms, and comes with a lot of accessories (that you have to build of course). Lotta other sets I've seen in recent years tend to lack in size and/or play features for their pricepoints, unfortunately.
Its expensive cause it's rare and a old set that isn't made anymore and stopped along time ago that's a like a getting a PS2 or PS1 in perfect condition but only for Lego

I feel like something that small would not cost 400 dollars. Here in Australia, a lego set that big would cost 50 to 60 dollars. Unless it's really old which doesn't appear to be the case, I feel like you got scamed off your life savings
I like both, obviously Burg blaustein is on another level, not even a question, but somehow I like this cartoonish retro design from the Lego castle. The Price is absurd

Look I love legos as much as the next guy, but I refuse to believe they have any right costing hundreds of dollars. The creation cost of those plastic pieces cannot cost that much to produce.
@@BrickFort_ It’s also a larger set, which gives it an automatic advantage, but 10320 stands out more to me because of the white and yellow colour palette, its a more striking piece than just the grey walls of the castle
@@Ayden_77 that is a valid point, but the castle is more sleek around the edges where el dorado is rough, it has more unique angles and shapes, and the colors that aren’t gray pop more imo, just a preference though
I like 18+ Lego sets that still have good play features. I especially liked the bellows from the Medieval Blacksmith that lit a light brick in the forge.

This is an excellent build. I‘ve been building the Mountain Fortress castle from the Bricklink Designer Series for the past couple days. I think I may like this one even more!
Lego missed an opportunity to either blockbuild oldschool gears or use knobgears for a slightly more accurate representation. Tho brickbuild wooden gears would have been so much neater.
I find it just weird why so many adult lego builders take it way too seriously. Just enjoy the process there is no hard lego builds just ones that take more time

Eldorado Fortress might not have as good building techniques, but it’s a better display piece in my opinion.
