Actually frankly speaking , I am NRI ,I went back in vacation back home , was amazed to see the changes , as Street vendor are paid by UPI, in last 2 months not withdrawn a single rupee from bank , kudos to the change 👏 Proud to be Indian, Jai Hind

I lived without any cash for 4 years when I was in college (2016-20). My atm card was broken but never felt any compulsion to get a new one as I never needed any cash. I always did payment online (even used to pay 6 rupee for one samosa using upi 😂)
My debit card has been expired like a year ago but didn't feel any need 😊😁

I myself didn't use ATM since last 4-5 months. There is no need here for hard cash, every vendor around is present on different UPI based apps. You can pay even 5-10 rupees through UPI.

Never gone to ATM from last two years. I pay my maids also through Google pay. This is possible only because the Modi govt introduced Jan dhan yojana which made each n every adult to have an account. Sometimes I wonder what would v been our situation during covid times, if the govt had not encouraged the digital payments?

One of the reason is we have affordable internet data plans and I can say for myself and my city it's from Chattisgarh Bhilai India. Also in near by parks they also have free Wi-Fi, actually it's quite common everywhere in cafes, colleges. So everyone can learn from internet,
My yearly plan is Rs. 2500 for unlimited calling and unlimited data with 2.5gb high-speed 4G per day.
UPI available in all sectors in India 🇮🇳 it's safe and so easy only one scan and transfer

I went home last Feb , quite happy to use UPI and it was very very convenient. Did not visit any bank or ATM. Even I paid 7 rupees for Uber bike. Paid Rs 10for coriander 🌿 leaves. Similarly pani puri etc what a revolution.

You know what, you can book anything from your home, for example if you have to book railway tickets, u should make time and move to near by railway station to book tickets, now you can book even in your office while working after Modi govt. I had heard 6-12 month before UPI was launched as a collegue's wife was in bank and all were working round the clock to finalize the policy. Politician laughed (Chidambaram) that no villager will use UPI, now you will find more UPI QR codes than house number in india.
Never used credit/debit card physically since covid19 happened.
I can literally spend entire weekend roaming in city with Wallet, Cash and Cards kept at home. Phone will do everything. Even if we need to show vehicle docs and driving licence and insurance to Traffic police.
After introduction of UPI, I have stopped using my VISA credit card. Most of the people don't know that VISA (an American company) charges some money every time it is used by us. Thus, our country's money goes to a foreign country. For using UPI, I don't need to pay anything to anybody.

UPI was not developed in an year or two. The foundation of this project was developed back in 2008-9, which most of the people in india has not even heard of. It's called MMID using USSD by the way, which is still alive and can be used from your mobile (Indian) even without internet.
USSD is a globally accepted system, nothing to do with the government of that time. It was used to subscribe or interact with Telecom providers in a 2G environment.

I have read a lot of comments here....I will tell you a simple straight truth...even in a city like Kolkata, even a Panwala takes online payment....we Indians dont appreciate our Govt or small steps like UPI....but as far as I have seen, we Indians have developed a lot in the last few years....
I'm using Phone pe and Paytm since last 4-5 years, and have never turned off mobile data since I'm using Jio data. Entry of jio has changed the way we use internet and other networks also adopted it soon to compete.
Earlier I We use to pay ₹299/- for 1GB data valid for a month, Now they give 2GB per day for a year @ ₹2200/- and 2GB is still seeming less and thank God we can recharge data addition pack @ ₹251/- per month to get 50GB additional data🤗
Bro i pay 800₹ for unlimited calls and Internet
Paytm is majority owned by Chinese

I feel for every person who were interviewed in this session. My suggestion is : know that change comes only after it is acknowledged and required by the people. Also, you can only improve under constraining circumstances. ISRO was blacklisted by the Western scientific community and this forced ISRO to step up and build everything in house. It had to be profitable before it could invest in itself. So in the last 30 years, ISRO has become the cheapest operator of space science in the world. When technology is handed out for free, you can never master building it yourself. China, Russia, and West all invest in improving technology in every field they want to play in. To get there, the human capital needs to be improved and unleashed with education. At the end, both India and Pakistan are still in the phase of nation building unlike the west or China or Russia. We have to go through the challenging process first and trust institutions to exist and function. Strongman politics or Army coups or religious agenda must not come in the way of nation building. Both India and Pakistan must learn from Bangladesh as to how to grow with citizen first agenda. Peace in subcontinent is essential for the well-being of every person in India, Pakistan and even Afghanistan.

They themselves have accepted and acknowledged in many videos that their english is not as good as their neighbouring country's Indians english.
