When Geoff made Till Then he said he was aiming for a grizzly bear singing a lullaby. This is a similar effect I think. The way he jumps around the ocrtaves is quite phenomenal and very beautiful.
@@SaeedReacts. It's a beautiful old song done in a very different style. I love it. Maybe because I'm the same age as the song. :) We both arrived in 1944.
I really appreciate your willingness to stop and follow your own heart to hear what you want to hear. Being such a huge fan of Geoff and VoicePlay, I think it's all good - so often when I'm making recommendations I'm really guessing, based on what the reactor has said, what their musical preferences are. Or I'm suggesting something because I think it will open up the reactors appreciation of something different about them that they haven't yet discovered. You know best, I'm only guessing.
Thank you so much the kind words and sharing this. I saw this on his channel and was immediately drawn to it. What a great rendition. Looking forward to more.
He is indeed incredibly talented. He sings, arranges, edits both the video and the initial sound edit, does narrations on his solo channel. He not only plays the piano and a little bit of other instruments, but all of the extra music that you heard was done on a keyboard with plug-ins. If you decide to watch Ghost Riders, he also did the artwork for the cover. It really is unfair that there’s no talent left over for the rest of us!
Truely a hauntingly beautiful song...I am in awe of how talented Geoff is. This cover has brought me to tears so many times. it hits so hard. Geoff brings such depth, sadness and a sort of resignation to this song. Great reaction.
I just subbed to join you on your vp and Geoff journey. It's a wild ride. They have something for everyone and every mood. Serious. Thoughtful. Animated. Funny. They do it all but one thing they don't do is take their special brand of dumb as they call it too seriously.
This is so haunting. If you are going to check out some of the others, make The Bass Gang part of the knowledge bank. They are relatively new, and 2 of the guys are Peter Barber and Bobby Bass here in the States, Tomi P is in the Czech Republic and Marwan Ayman in Egypt. The group was going to finally get together for a set of 4 Disney songs in the Czech Republic. Peter and Bobby flew over, and Marwan had issues with the authorities not accepting his visa. The first song of the group was Marwan's lead - Arabian Nights so he had to find a location (Sahara Desert), a camera crew, a dancer, communications so that the 3 guys could set it up on their end. It worked. #2 is Be Prepared, #3 is Gaston, #4 is Friend Like Me. A couple of songs from their year before: Centuries, Emperor's New Clothes, Yellow Flicker Bear. Just last month they did a new one - If I Had a Heart. This group is my second favorite group (I lump VoicePlay and Geoff into my #1 favorite). I See Fire is also the follow up to Misty Mountains.
Well, THANKS RUclips for not notifying me of this! So freaking annoying. Anyway Geoff "Lion's Purr" Castellucci does it again. It makes me feel like I'm bathing in warm honey too. Which is kinda weird, I guess...but so am I, so it's all good.
Geoff adds "special sauce" to everything he creates. It's always delightful, unique and tasteful.
I like that description!

I need to listen to Till Then. Thanks for watching.

It always makes me think of a big cat purring. It even feels like it on the ears!
What a talent.
So talented!
Again he turned a song I didn't care for into one I love. He sprinkles his magic on every song he sings solo and with Voiceplay.
I was so so on the original but man this version is an instant favourite
@@laundrygoddess4
I know right? Geoff has that effect on all his songs.
Great version!

Yes it is 😄

Reacting to this and VoicePlay’s Creep in the same day is emotional overload! Great reaction to both and both are SO beautiful.
Cant wait for more. Such great renditions. Thanks for watching.

I did not know this song or the original artist. Didn't matter, cause it's Geoff. It was absolutely gorgeous!!
Amazing song and rendition. Thanks for watching.
