Its always funny when people act like the crossbow is some op weapon... like bro you miss the first shot you need to take a 40 minute break to load another round. The bolts are slow, it doesn't have the range of every other marksman or sniper. It doesn't have the speed of any other gun in the game. And the worst part is that with normal bolts you can still get hitmarkers. It's arguably one of the worst weapons in the game, but it's so fun. Forgot to mention, the victus and the signal both have explosive rounds too. Both shoot faster and both hit harder. The only thing the crossbow has going for it is ADS speed, and they're great for turtles

Exactly why I play MP with voice chat off and only shipment. Then if there are sweats just simply back out. When u casually play the game in your free time and have no time to learn these maps it just makes things less stressful to avoid any BS

I disagree if you stick the shield with the bow explosive it should kill them. there needs to be a counter to the shield otherwise it is to powerful. also in my experience barely anyone uses the bow and I would say most do not even unlock the bow, let alone level it up.

Explosive tip doesn’t go through window. Only the actual arrow does. So you can kill someone with your own arrow through the window but the explosive part of it will bounce back. Idk if it’s intentional or if they will patch it.

To be fair the crossbow is a one hit ,especially with the explosive tip . If you ads around corners while ,they’re in the running motion you will automatically win if your aim is on point . Love the vid man you actually inspired me to use the knife and throwing knife .
15:04 You MUST break glass before shooting bolts through it. It's a bug since WZ1, and hasn't been fixed in MW2. You impact damage will go through, but your special bolt tip will bounce back at you (which can kill you).

You are correct about the throwing stars, HOWEVER, that's only if you are strictly using them and nothing else, like what you did. You tried using them like a throwing knife in which they are not. You can throw them faster and can spam them. They are great for follow up kills if you hitmarker the enemy with a gun. Also great for when you mag dump and have no more ammo. The arc angle isn't as much as the throwing knives either.
The only person rage quiting because of explosive bolts is the user. They were literally worse than regular bolts. If you shoot an enemy below the waist they won't even die. On top of that it takes like 3 to kill someone with flak jacket. They're definitely disappointing. Oh and now codm decided to ruin its OWC tactical scope, and now I can't even use it as a sniper with a horrible fire rate, but great damage and range.

Any of the special bolts you use on the crossbow can't go through glass, the bolt will technically still go through it but it's the part that holds the special part that will get stuck on the glass so you have to break the glass first otherwise you'll get a one shot kill without any explosive, thermite or tear gas
so keeping it as brief as i can, i am a retired operator, and my wife is a retired military pilot. part of doing what i did for so long is you end up being somewhat of a prepper. we've got "go bags" with plate carriers, helmets, nvgs, trauma kit, mres, etc. while i have an 18" barreled SIG Spear setup as a DMR (6.5 Creedmoor) and my wife has a SIG Cross (bolt action, looks like the SP-X) in the same caliber. my wife also has an IWI Uzi Pro chambered in 5.7x28, and we both have FN FiveseveN's as pistols. i say all of this because on top of all of this i have a compound bow, and she has a crossbow within our kits. they're amazing weapons and it's super rad they've added them to the game.

It’s considered a sweaty weapon because it’s hard to get good at it. Trust me. When I 1v1 in quickscoping a friend and I’m cocky I use that to prove how much better I am than them. It’s hard to use if you can quick scope.

Get ads up and don't use special arrows... regular arrows have more ammo and are 1 hitters... this saves up space for a better attachment... bomb arrows are only useful against kill streaks...gas arrows are the only good special arrow as the ammo pool is great and the gas won't steal your kill...(if you need specific kills such as behind the back the thermite and bomb kills don't count towards those)
Bro I 100% hear you on the relying on your hearing in the game. The only thing making me think about buying MW3 is they made dead silence a perk again, or so I've heard. It has annoyed me they have taken it away from perks.
I understand not having a one tap on riot shield with crossbow, but the speed and impact of an RPG not even counting the following boom would likely shatter your arms. Shit's originally made to pierce tank armour, anyway, no way in hell a ballistic shield should be able to take that.

You get way more hitmarkers with them so you traded with your opponent 2-3 times in the vidéo and you got 2 people at once only one time in the whole video. Rest of the time you struggle to dodge bullets before the guy facing you die ^^. Maybe if thermite bolts can go through shield it could be interesting but so far... meh 😕

Thermite is better. Explosive won't one shot kill with the bomb perk equipped unless it's a head shot. Thermite will one shot kill regardless plus has better range and is more accurate.

Can you do a video that showcases executions. The fact that the game doesn’t give you a preview of what they do before you select them in annoying. And I don’t know which ones I wanna use or even go to unlock.
People actually raging about using a crossbow. Yeah it's a one shot kill, but if you miss you are screwed. It's a lot harder to use than an automatic gun.
