    Hope in the round 2 I think you guys said you are going to do you add the fanatics as well as the fluid golden line of metallic paint . Also I think a brand called darkstar is supposed to make really good metal paint

    I think my favorite application for the Gold and Silver Metal Color Airs (aside from painting my grey knights via air brush) is to use them as thinners for other brands of really thick metallics. They're perfect for it. Metal Color Air Gun Metal is a perfect metallic though. At least in my arsenal. 2 coats only, no need for thinning, doesn't obscure details. Perfect with both a brush and air brush. It's a gret metallic. Until I ran into Vince Venturella's gold recipe (which is near as perfect as a gold can be), I exclusively used the Gold and Copper as thinners for Citadel or Vallejo model color golds/brasses. Citadel washes tone them and shade them back to their original colors or darn close to them. IMO even if they don't touch a model in a pure form, the Metal Color Air line is a must own if you paint a lot of metallics.

    These has been great, hopefully you all can do copper or bronze and round out the main metallic paints we typically use. I know personally i love pro acryls copper but im curious as to what you all would find to be the best.

    Vallejo Model Air metallics are the best for "realism", but I have found Army paint's metallics have the best brightness which works well for wargame models.

    Sad to see monument get destroyed by the primer on all of these lol. It doesn't go on some primers well I've found but the paint is so good I just changed primers to keep with them.

      We will be retesting Monument in the future with different Primers. When we recorded these like most people we ha no Idea monument NEEDED special primers to work correctly. So I still think for the average buyer and painter Monument needing a different primer is an overall issue with the brand. We deffinently want to give them the best shot. So after episode 6 we will be testing different Primers to see what primer works the best with all paint ranges.

      If your paint is destroyed just because you didn't use certain primer for it - it's worthless. Especially when there are really good paints out there that work no matter the primer you put beneath them. It's another big minus for Pro Acry I've encountered.

    • @justinschwieger71
      @justinschwieger71 Месяц назад

      @@PrzybyszzMatplanety It isn't ruined if you use the wrong primer by default, it just ends up not looking good on the first coat with a brush when you thin it down like other brands, which is what they have to do for these videos to not spoil what paint they're using.
      For a base coat with PA you barely want to thin it on most primers when using a brush. But even if you mess up it goes down perfectly fine no matter how much you thin it on the 2nd coat, it also comes out of an airbrush perfectly fine no matter the primer.
      Also using a different primer for paints I like is one of the smallest "inconveniences" I've ever dealt with in mini painting, especially since I've used a ton of different primers for different types of projects since before PA was even on the market.
      The only real negative to PA paints that I've encountered is that Newsh is a terrible name for a product just because it's impossible to search.

      Only a general suggestions - they should go over white underlayer due to being transparent paint and blue fluo works bad, regardless of manufacturer - most visible effects are for red/orange and yellow

    I do love a good metallic, but how come silver is so much better than gold? Some of those scores are super high

    • @Squad-Games-Entertainment
      @Squad-Games-Entertainment  Месяц назад

      So these Silvers have everything that we want in a paint. Perfect coverage, Nice flow, they don't dry out to quickly. Gold Has some additives that can make coverage/viscosity worse. Out of all the paints we have tested these are some of the best so far.
