Freddie King’s bluesy soulful version of “goin’ down” [written by Don Nix] was the first version I heard and I always dug everything Freddie did… Then came along Jeff Beck’s ‘orange’ album and he and his group took it to a whole nutha level… It would be foolish to try to copy what the late Jeff Beck did but he’s definitely in my head whenever I play this song… It was great to see all our friends & fans come out for the KHB 33rd anniversary!
