Im following the med diet for health reasons, try incorporate at least 2 or 3 portions of oily fish per week tinned or fresh, use extra viegin olive oil in cooking/dressings, does say to cut out refined sugars etc but I agree its a gradual process hard to just do it overnight. Also pork is a no on the diet too. Its such a minefield trying to get to grips with it all so I feel your pain xx

Felipo berrio is the best reasonable price olive oil- in fact the only proven one to be authenticity made from the everyday brands on the shelves like bertoli etc. only like and use this as well.if I were to pitch them in order of best first,I’d call it as Spain,Greek and Italian foods- pork is used a lot in large areas of Spain . Another word to research,an important one- Clean foods . Hope you are ok today xxx
Hi kayleigh ❤, I give my grandson a healthy med diet, and for lunches he takes carrot strips ,humus, with red peppers ,chicken strips wirh olive oil and herbs ,pitta bread triangles wholewheat,black olives, apple slices with pomegranate seeds ,grapes ,is his favourite meal ,and easy for lunch boxes ,now he is 16 ,so if any of that helps Felicity ,that would be wonderful ,sending loads of love to you all ❤
Kayleigh u r not being dense at all you r just learning and its a minefield for sure i have been doing the med way of eating for a year and a half and i still learnt something new every week and i also still google going around the store. I think u r doing a great job px

Going kayleigh mum always told us if we had medicine and we didn't like the taste it was doing us some good you got a goodlot of shopping well j do hope the new diet your going to give felicity is going to do her some good just introduce her to it slowly the yoghurt sounds good with smoothy and perhaps next day give her yoghurt with berries init .lovd to you all ffran xxx❤
Also And yes it is really hard to knock out sugar all together people get on me alot about how much better i would feel and to drink lots of water also which is hard if u dont like water 😊
I am the only one who likes brown seeded bread i just buy a full loaf put in freezer and take a slice out when needed. Does felicity like soreen or veda ?? Pxxx
I am with felicity on the avocados i have tried to like them but i am not convinced the only way i can incorporate them is buying frozen and adding into my smoothies.. same with olives . M&S has my heart and yes the fruit is more expensive but they store so much better so i think its justified px
I absolutely love avocados….. I’m trying desperately for my daughter to give them a go. I know you said Felicity doesn’t like nuts but if she’s willing to give Walnuts a go they are so so good for you and helps with anti inflammatory…… you could put them in the blender and mix in her smoothie. My daughter has Cous Cous, salad and Chicken or tuna regular for school lunches….. very easy to prepare and easy for transportation….. I usually do couple a days worth at a time.
You have tuna in sunflower oil and also my dr told me when you have a flare up buy cranberry juice no sugar it realy helps also in co opbthey got no additives jelly babies all natural 1.00 also with the food your buying milk is good for the bones and try and keep some normality in food awe when sheds better her body willbrely on these foods askbthe physio for a dietary plan in what is good and bad things for her your a fabulous Mam and dad sending you all my love and God bless you all Melaniexxx
I also have pain for different reasons but different drs i go to say any sugar drinks or sweets are really bad for pain in increases it just saying im not criticizing or judging im just trying to help u sugar is really bad anyone but worse for people like us who have pain i sure hope it goes good for Felicity 😊😊
I really don't like Avacado, too slimy, but in a smoothie u can't taste it and makes it thick and creamy. I do frozen fruit, spinach, water, Avacado spinach( also no taste), ginger puree( check if anti inflammatory) squeeze of honey and lemon, might be a good way of getting some good anti inflammatory into Felicity, you may need to tweak the fruit/ honey to get sweet enough. Xx

What about using a food flask for school lunches for felicity, pasta/salmon, left over dinners put in flask for the next day xx

If Felicity likes the salmon, then she might like rainbow trout because that has a similar taste xx

Doing it with diet is better than drugs,.
Try avocado in the smoothie you can't taste it and you can just add extra milk to thin it out because avocado makes it thicken a bit x

Can you put the avocado in her smoothy? Turmeric is another really good anti inflammatory x

Seeds are great whole and do a fab job, but from what I've been told ground/crushed releases all the really good stuff
