Honolua's Hawaiian roots run deep, so it’s no surprise that she started surfing at two years old. The Haleiwa native grew up riding boards of all lengths but found her true passion for longboarding’s more classic approach. A natural competitor. Her approach to life is all-encompassing Aloha. There is a mellow calm about her that’s rooted in the energy of the Island. She comes from a tight-knit Ohana family of surfers, from her Grandparents to her little sister, her parents, and her older brothers, who keep Hono in check.
