Was really good to see you cycling to goa via Amboli ghat very inspiring 👍. I along with my friends way back in 1986 had travelled to goa via the NH17 highway on a cycle without gears we covered it in 6.5 days no video that time just cycling all the way
The hardest part about cycling is the scary traffic and bad roads. Stamina will come after a while. 100 plus km a day is very doable but the traffic is the scariest. Hats off to you guys who cycle on such roads with traffic like that.

Montra's helicon and helicon x weights around 14.5 kgs, so climbing up on this bike is like a nightmare., Still excellent fleet, I will suggest getting proper bike check and set the dimensions of bike according to your height and body dimensions to avoid body fatigue, Change parts if necessary, change the wheel set, they are alone 6 kgs.

Nicely done ..You had the faith that you wil cover the distance whatever the thing may be.Thats was all the positiveness you require as a rider. I did my BRM of 600 Km Kalamboli - Bhor -Katraj - Khambatki - Pasarni-Nipani - Balgavi -Chorla Ghat -Baga (Goa) on 8th Oct '21 in 41hrs 20 mts (30:22:50 hrs was the riding time) of total time. We were 20 riders from all over INdia and 0nly 8 could complete under 40Hrs which is the cut off..I was lucky that I could finish. Only 10 people finished the entire ride !!! The route tough and is used for the Deccan Cliffhangers.. Good luck for your future endeavors .
Very inspirational for me, I am a beginner & recently I have just completed my first century ride. Doing mumbai to Goa -600 km will be my future goal. Please keep inspiring 👍🙂

@@rushikeshparabcycling what's the cost of ur bike. I had never heard of this brand before. I saw ur review video where front derailers didnt work well and paint job started peeling off in one week. That sounds terrible. I also noticed u kept on saying tyre size is between sports and hybrid..did u actually mean between sports and MTB? Because hybrid is between sports and mtb
It's Montra ( Indian Brand ) Though it has very less faults Bicycle works great I use it very rough still it's great It's Montra Helicon X Yes tyres are hybrid
@@rushikeshparabcycling Thanks. Checked brand website. Seems the model is discontinued now as its not in market and on website. Cost around 17K Rs. I saw. What are some good Indian brands in the market these days for quality affordable cycles? I know Decatholan (French) is getting strong in India but still is on more expensive side.
I hardly do 5 km in Indian traffic and feel like I have achieved some feat, hats off to you for being able to go nearly 125 km everyday for 5 consecutive days. I think you should also show more of planning the trips part of your journey and what safety precautions and habits to inculcate.

The worst part of this route - Mumbai to khopoli happens in good climate, but then right at Khopoli - 4hrs after Mumbai the ghat is extreme - and the sun too is unbearing, I did Mumbai-Pune last december, and I clearly remember the ghat section, its like you have no oxygen left in you. I've made my mind to time ghat sections better. ! Congrats on ur ride though !
Practice makes perfect. The roads in your country are bad for cyclists - so it's great that you managed to ride so many kilometers. I rode 500 km at once, but on good bicycle paths. Greetings from Poland
