This works! I only tried grinding some coffee for the v60 by setting the inner burr and grind size to maximum during grinder deep cleaning times. Still not sustainable. That's why there are hand grinders. ☺💫
Each cortado is around 4oz right in 1:1 ratio of espresso to milk, right? Wouldn't that mean you would have to pull a double shot on each glass to reach 2oz on each glass instead if pulling a double shot on two glasses at the same time whihc would equal to 1oz on each glass? Correct me if i'm wrong please haha
It's for pre-infusion. The longer the button is held down the more your beans get soaked prior to the full 9 bar pressure once you release, thus creating different flavors in extraction depending on beans.
@@damianhbk1 I agree with what Damian said. I think the pre-infusion should be longer for finely ground coffees. So I get a better shot of espresso by pre-infusing for about 15 seconds. Dude Damian, thank you so much for the reply. ☺🙌
Awsome! How many grams of fresh beans do you use, and how many grams of espresso are you aiming for in each shot? Also, how many grams of milk du you use in the cortado? Is whole milk the best?
Thank you. 18g dose, 36g yield, 30 - 35 second time extraction. This is my double espresso recipe. In fact, the cortado drink is made from a 1:1 mixture of espresso and steamed milk. The coffee I prepared in my video is more like a flat white prepared in a 1:3 ratio with 18g espresso. I think it is suitable for my taste, so my recipe is out of the standard. I always use whole milk. Making silky texture is easier and more delicious with whole milk.
Thank you so much. If you are confident in your barista skills, I can give 9 out of 10 points. Sage Barista Express is one of the best in its price class. In my opinion, the biggest shortcoming is not being able to adjust the pressure.☺🙌

Over extraction
actually the duration did not exceed 35 seconds. 🙂
Why do you wet the beans?
I do this to get rid of static electricity during the grinding process. A few drops of water is enough for this. ☺
@@ahmeterginkarahan oh ok thanks mate.

So in this video, 18g of beans yields two shots of 36g espresso each?
@@mathiasvindal2790 Exactly. There is 18g of espresso in each glass.
Awesome video. One question. Why do you put the beans in contact with water?
Thank you so much. Adding a few drops of water prevents static electricity from forming during grinding. 🙂
Great video, really well shot as always. What would you rate the coffee taste out of 10 with the Sage Barista Express?

@@ahmeterginkarahan Great, thanks a lot! I think it will be my next machine. I’ll get my tips from your videos!

You are not holding the milk can correctly in any form. Why do people try and make videos knowing nothing about what it is they are doing
I see what you mean but he still got the required texture in the end…
You do understand you don’t know what your doing right? Get a proper grinder and a porta filter funnel and a wdt tool
This is where I learned to do this thing. How about watching my latest videos?
