Thanks brother for going by Perris Hill Park. Sad to see those in need having to live in tents and worse. It brings back some great memories for me swimming at the plunge, playing tennis, baseball practice at the ball field, running the hill. Nice to see it all is still there.
Yes very sad, glad I brought back some memories again my friend. Hopefully the city will start doing something and helping the situation out here and everywhere. 🙏🙏
I remember back in the 60's and maybe 70's there was a small amusement park with a ferris wheel and other rides at the end of the Perris Hill parking lot. Thank you😀
lived there 73-79, I remember beingdropped of at Perris Hill park as a kid and speding hours there. It's a great park. It's very sad, the homeless thing. It is everywhere now. I am noting, it does not LOOK as extensive as it is near where I curently live.
Nice video as always. I haven't been In that area in about 30 year's. Thing's have changed. It's sad to see that people are struggling and have to live in tents, RV'S and vehicles.
@@bengalboy61 wasn't there a federated across the national orange show grounds off mill, then later turned to pacific stereo ... only federated i know ... I worked for Christmas season at white front off e street. ... think white front also became a two guy's store. federated you mentioned , was it on lower right hand corner ( SE ) as you headed north on e ?
@Journeytoaddiction you should do a drive by today. 200 is pushing it. But it is definitely a whole lot of tents, 3 or 4 grouped up to form a lil village. Sad, sickening .
I grew up on 7th street and MtVernon , I moved away about 16 years ago, and never looked back. I miss my old hood, when La Esperanza Market was on 6th street, and all the businesses were thriving…what happened?!?!?!?!😢
