1- scapegoating: he blames other friendly nations for exploiting US.
2- Fearmongering: against immigrants.
3- Lying: do you really need a description for this one?
4- Accusing opponents of weakness and disloyalty: Hillary.
5- Promising the impossible: mexican wall.
6- Violence and physical intimidation: ex wrestler and occasional bully.
7- insults: ridiculing opponents is a simple way to shut down reasoned deliberation of competing ideas, especially with an unsophisticated audience.
8- Vulgarity and outrageous behavior: grabbing pussy.
9- Gross oversimplification: to himself, mostly.
10- Attacking the news media: holy shit i thought this may not work, now I am totally convinced.

The idea for the project came when they heard an Elton John song play trump onto the stage at a rally. Artists often can't even stop ppl like trump using the music they created & own to promote trumpian politics (let alone seek legal recompense) so the project the this demagogue song came from sought to both empower artists to have ownership Over their own property & creations, taking away a small amount of power from authoritarians who steal their music to use it for evil with little chance of ever getting justice for the theft.

Wow. I don't even mind when outsiders try to put their two cents into another country's politics, because sometimes they should.
But this song is so half-assed that I question who paid you to release it in this state. The lyrics aren't even artful or subtle, and the melody just repeats over and over. Also, "pussy-grabbing"? You were begging Michael to "come all over you" without asking for his consent 12 years ago. I liked that, btw. Edgy.
This comes after a list of more apolitical artists and creatives suddenly taking a "moral" stance against Trump. It's fishy.

Yeah, it was a rush job. That Trump scandal only happened last week. Also: I don't care whether or not Franz got paid for this, even if they do have to work for a living. Really, I should instead enjoy the whining, micromanaging & other discontent from so called "fans" who think they know how the band should make others happy.
Oh, I don't care to impose on them what to do, but I will say what I like and what I don't. That's what comments are for, and that's what's great about free markets.
Also, "scandal"... Bwahaha. In a way you're right about it maybe being an indicator of how long a song's been in development, but lyrics are often the last thing to be added/finalised. So... we don't know.
P.S. I do normally read descriptions, and I read this one, but all they gave was a vague URL. A brief title card at the beginning may have helped.
