Arsenal fan here. I have been quite impressed with Slot since his first press conference and then, during the pre-season as he wasn't perturbed by the lack of transfers or constant talk around Klopp. Instead, he was only focused on getting his ideas through to his squad, exactly how it should be. Yes, Liverpool's schedule has been favourable, but that's irrelevant as you still need to win those games. Thus far, Slot and his team have looked remarkably calm and composed. Let's wait and see how they respond to the tough schedule that lies ahead of them. Either way, the immediate future looks quite steady under Slot unlike I have had seen with Emery after Arsene. Though Unai went on a 22-games unbeaten run, I never felt a sense of security and comfort under him. Even as a rival fan, I can already see how functional and steady Liverpool look under Slot. I would say, just ignore the noise and enjoy the football.
6:00 Dan is like my local postman, always has shorts on whatever the weather and always has a decent package for me 😅
Well.
Package 😂😂😂
Oooh matron!
Slot reason why Szobo was rested Slot is right to mention that every three days is a short time for players to recover, and Szoboszlai is more likely than most to tire given his role leading the Reds’ press.
Give us a like, if your Slotter 👍
Salah is a different player now, however he is our match winner & still our best attacker by a distance. What the F is wrong with Szobo though ?
Nothing is wrong with Szobo. He's cleaning up misplaced passes by Salah and the rest of the team.
He’s doing the dirty work that recycles our possession whenever we lose it. You don’t notice it because people tend to focus only on the goals and assists for the #10 role when in fact we dont use Szobo as that type of 10
As Redmen TV pointed out yesterday it was a fantastic weekend for the reds. Men’s First team, Women’s first team, Men’s U21’s and 18’s all won their games. It’s not over yet as the Women’s U21’s playing on Wednesday night before the Women’s first team take on Man City at Anfield on the weekend. Btw Höbinger’s rocket free kick and Capoks lob are both goal of the season contenders. Come on Liverpool 💪
We really need these contracts sorted quickly, Sadly i feel Trent is off i'm getting the same vibes when it went on with Mcmanaman and Owen, But i'd certainly be signing VVD up, guy is still performing at a top level and with how our transfer buisness has been operated i don't hold much confidence in them signing a ideal replacement, took us alongtime to find a CB of his calibra... Salah is a flip of a coin in recent past seasons his had a good first half but gone missing a few times in the second.
You can only beat what's in front of you, so far that's been teams from the bottom half, for me there are alot of encouragements, over the last couple of seasons it's been the teams front the bottom half we have struggled against so to be 6 from 7 is great. We also never managed bk to back clean sheets in the league all season last year, 5 clean sheet returns already in the league with the same players calls for massive credit to Slot and the team. The next 4 league games will tell us so much more but so far so good!
Good points.
Actually did do back to back clean sheets once last season, Everton then Forest, but your point still stands
Sorry, good spot! Hope we continue this solid start!
Reactions to Liverpool's next fixtures
Everyone else: Liverpool are going through a tough phase.
Liverpool fans: BRING IT ON!
If Liverpool comes through this period of games rivals will find some other excuses as to why it's gone so well.
That intro was epic 😂😂. Nice to have Ste on the show 👍🏾
Curtis pushing Szobo out of the first eleven? Dan said he got hurt boxing on the weekend but I thought it was his finger. Obviously got a major concussion to go with it.
Bore off mate, you're boring
Jones is a better 10 than Szobo. The Hungarian lacks composure for the final pass and Jones's touch and control in tight areas make him a better option on that part of the pitch.
Ace having Ste back on the pod // really love his insights… Thinking he should be “starting” more often than just being Macca/Tsimi/Robbo Pajack’s or Ali Machin’s international-break sub 😉😂 Perhaps we squish in around that big table, make that famous starting IV a starting V..? 🧐 Thanks again for another brilliant podcast, Redmen. YNWA ❤
Any chance of Slott looking at Eze to come in and play in the 10? I think he is a huge talent but not sure he has the legs to play in Slotts version of the 10 role?
Thanks for the podcast
Well given that City struggled against Fulham and Arsenal struggled against Southampton, you can't say out past fixtures were "easy."
You played nobody in the top 10 of League.. Arsenal had Spurs, villa and city all in a row AWAY and where seconds away from getting 9/9. Let's see how you do with those fixtures. Great podcast by the way.
@@briansheridan9160love this coping mechanism rivals have developed 😂✌🏼
@@briansheridan9160 outside of Arsenal and City who should Liverpool find it hard to beat?
This whole they've played no one argument is pathetic, every team in the league can put in a performance and catch you cold.
Everyone plays each other twice, Liverpool have played ten, won nine and only let in two goals.
Great videos lads/Chloe😊 keep up the belter work redmen crew
When Liverpool come away from October unbeaten and still in all the competitions people will still be saying we haven't played anyone.... Haters are gonna hate.... All you can do is beat who is front of you!
Loved the Man U pauses.
Starts at 7:51
Believe me, Mohamed Salah will win us the Champions League this season.
See you in June.
I love how Man City are claiming victory from their lawsuit after they got some minor rule amendments upheld 😂
Not surprised a club owned by a propaganda state, tried to play it that way.
That minor rule mostly affects Everton as well 😂
Our away end Chloe's favourite saying
I fucking love Chloe Bloxam 😂 she is gas
paul stop interrupting chloe challenge
Go on Liverpool❤
Our next 10 games include, City, Arsenal, Madrid, Villa, Spurs. I think we're going to be brought back down to earth. We've been playing really poor this season, but results have not reflected that. I hope we can pick it up after the international break, but if we keep performing the same as we have been and conceding a shit ton of chances every game, the better teams will punish us.
Sucks to be you
What kind of games have you’ve been watching???
Go watch a different sport lad, you don't win every game 5 or 6 nill.
There's always going to be periods where you're up against it and it's not looking that good.
Swear down people like you count how many throw in's we give away, totally pathetic.
The fact is Liverpool have won 9 out of 10 and let in only 2 goals.
Hii 🎉🎉
Jones again was bang average at best. He only has one speed on the ball and never really did anything other than pass the ball sideways or back. As someone who’s supposed to be creative all he ever does is keep the ball but gets beat by the press and rarely makes an incisive attacking pass. We need to get away from this narrative that because he’s scouse it means he’s good.
I'm not even gonna bother explaining why you're completely wrong, you obviously don't watch much football. Welcome to Wrongsville. Population: YOU 😊
