I can't wait for you to get to Levanter. I think that's when most people realized just how beautiful and unique Minho's voice is. It always seemed like they never knew quite where to stick his voice but when Woojin left, he really had the opportunity to shine and showcase his vocals more. Seungmin's vocals also start to really strengthen around Levanter but he's not a natural tenor like Woojin is so having Minho step in to help balance that really did something magical. I miss rapper Minho a lot but gosh, I sure love when he shows off his vocals!
I know you'll get to them eventually but you'll definitely enjoy the three times they went on One Take. Hearing Minho go from chest to falsetto back to head so seamlessly live is unreal.

this album had Lino & Felix’s first ever solo songs!
They both have a duet skz-player/record with another member, but neither had a true solo until this album! I think Han has the most lol, you could almost make a mini album out of his solos atp (and i will never complain)

In Deep End it's Felix's pure voice with a bit of delay but it's his voice, it's shocking how it changes but he can change his tone and the range he wants to sing in, he's impressive and too talented, he has already been heard singing in other stray kids songs but here his voice can be appreciated a little more, in fact he can go higher, but this song is quiet so he sings softer and you can feel more feeling♡ btw thanks for your reaction, stay safe✿

I was so confused the first time I heard "Deep End" because I knew it was going to be a Felix solo, but couldn't figure out who/why someone else was singing on it haha... nope... that was just Felix and his talent. Love how raw that song is.

So happy that you started reacting to the replay album!
Doodle is such a jam. I saw some tweets with speculations on the release day that Changbin was probably the last to submit his song for the A-side and after he saw all the others with either heartbreak or cutesy vibes he though: "This needs a hoe-anthem". It's pretty funny to go from Connected (Chan), Limbo and then BAM here's Binnie for you xD
I don't know if you've already seen the YT shorts, but he even "created" choreo for his song in one of their latest talkers, it's so cute hahaha: ruclips.net/user/shorts88S3YipssA0?feature=share
Felix goes through 3 octaves in his song, you are correct in your caption! Honestly: I loved loved loved it. I've heard some b-side songs (S-SICK & Phobia) and some concert clips where he uses his middle range voice and I'm so happy that went full out with this song. Chan described that Felix and the producer recorded it as to feel like ASMR and it truly feels like that for me, just like you described that he keeps his voice soft (:
Jisung has explained that his song was written and recorded in the summer of 2019. He also said that what we are hearing are the guide track, because he knew that he wouldn't be able to record it like that anymore, his mindspace has completely changed (and I'm glad, because it wouldn'tbe healthy if he was still there). I think it's so different to hear him in his lower vocals/rapping. I completely agree with you, I love the combination of a carefree spirited sound with these darker/heavier lyrics.
I either forgot what Lee Know exactly explained about the meaning of Limbo or he didn't really went too deep into the lyrics when he talked about it on Bubble. I believe he said it's a love-song. He also said he was mostly inspired by Japanese rock-ballads.
Yes yes, I'm so happy that he wrote this song, it's so beautiful and his vocals stand out so much. I already really appreciated his falsettos, but this song made me love his belts as well. He has come so far from the survival show ^^
The ending is both true to the song (because he leaves us in Limbo) and true to Lee Know himself, because he is so random. I've only experienced this once, but he'll be livestreaming and answering questions/talking with stays and then from one moment to the other he'll be like: "Alright, I'm done, bye!" and immediately ends it. Even Chan commented this when he was listening to the album on Chan's Room hahaha.
Thank you so much for reacting! I especially loved when you added your past reactions to both Changbin and Lee Know. My absolute favourite has to be Deep End and all the others are equally amazing, I really can't choose hahaha.

Doodle is my favorite song on the SKZ Replay album. I really love all the rest of them too, but Doodle has top spot for me. BTW I LOVED your flashback reels of your reactions to Changbin. lol so awesome. I had to replay it because I enjoyed it so much. Fun fact - another reactor I watch (New Chapter Reactions) said at the beginning that this also gave them an eerie feeling too, and then the ticking started and one of them said: Now it's a beat. That has been stuck in my head and makes me giggle now every time the song starts.
Deep End is a beautiful song. However, it's one I did not add to my playlist as I usually listen to the playlist while working or driving... and I can't really afford to break into tears while doing either of those lol. But I love it, his harmonies with himself are just beautiful. I don't think he used autotune. His voice in the middle register sounds most like he does when he sings Hero's Soup.
Run is probably my 3rd favorite on the album (I'm not counting the B side, just A side new ones. I can't rank against the B side..lol Streetlight would just win everything) - I used to not be a fan of rap at all and I found that all my favorite are raps. Guess I'm just evolving as a person! (Bang Chan's Connected is my 2nd favorite).
Limbo surprised me a bit. I like it a lot, but the last line really hits for me. He's saying to talk quietly, but he's shouting it out. The dichotomy is so good. Lee Know's voice is so good (and yeah, his voice has improved soooo much. During the survival show, he was a bit... unconfident. Now he is very confident and SKZ have said that on stage when he sings he's very confident now and his voice is very strong).

lee know composed it all by himself and the producer "hotsauce" said lee know should do it as much as 3racha & that he thinks he’s a genius!

Talking about rock voices, Han needs a rock song. He shows off his rock voice in the behind the scenes stuff from time to time. Making of Maxident trailer, most recent SKZ-TALKER? Might have been the previous ep. They’ve released so many just these past weeks. It’s hard to keep up. 😂
As for the solo songs, I admit to not liking everyone. I removed 3 out of 8 from my playlist. 😅 I for one am happy to finally get to add Streetlight, Because and #LoveSTAY to my playlist instead.
