This LEGO Technic Crawler Crane looks amazing! I really like the details and how the builder was able to recreate the original crane in such a detailed miniature model! Definitely a must have for any LEGO Technic enthusiast!
While I won't be getting this for obvious reasons, still very cool seeing the build process. Price aside it's still an epic, functional build. Crazy seeing it lift the larger Technic car. That's some impressive Lego engineering.

@@Bross555 Mould King`s 17015 Crawler Crane has more (4318 pcs.) pieces than Lego Crawler Crane and costs about 200€ instead of 680€.
That means the Mould King one has more parts than the Lego one, but costs MUCH less.

Hope it runs it's movements relatively smooth so it reaches asome point of worthiness...
Too expensive and proportions aren't quite right. It looks unrealistic. And using 18mm pulleys would've made so much more sense.
I, an 11-year-old has made a spaceship (42181) with 1k pieces, my fingertips hurt. Meanwhile I look at this giant crane, I want to do it, but I imagine the pain I will go through...

I bought one recently for €470 new.. got it on friday.. finished the build on sunday. Was an amazing set and realy fun building it
well on mould king there is a lot bigger stuff for cheaper
Get some plans, buy some balsa wood. Build and airplane or glider. Go outside, get some sun - you could use it- have some real fun learning physics in the process.

Oh, yes, peak lego design. Since 3×15 liftarms and huge rectangular pieces arrived, models' insides have majorly degraded

Great build, first I have seen. Have been waiting for this since first announced but the jib is very short compared to pics of the real Liebherr 1300. Also the cost, which is local AUD $1,050.00 just too expensive for me. Cheers.

Or maybe not, for liability reasons. I once had a bigger Lego crane turn into a trebuchet when the load slipped the hook. Nothing came anywhere my face but I could just as well have lost an eye. Probably the first reason why the whole crane is so small and the counterweights kinda weightless.

Ballast plastic pieces seems to be really cheap and can't justify the extreme speculative price! Very bad Lego!
Well, real and heavy counterweights have the potential to turn your crane into a trebuchet if something breaks as I learned the hard way. Not something the Lego legal department was going to sign off on.

@ Yes, that's the problem. If it was a circular saw we all would know to be careful and count our fingers after use. But I once almost got smacked in the face by just such a toy. Given that we live in a world where microwave ovens carry labels not to use them for drying your cat....
