I joined the fandom in their first comeback (Drunk-Dazed), but once I watched I-Land I inmediately knew that Heeseung was going to be my bias. His journey in I-Land must be one of the most exhausting. He's is a very perfectionist person so he use to be too hard on himself. Since trainee days he's been called the ace because, basically he's good at everything, so contestants always put all the responsibilities on him to be the 1st place, the center, the leader... He really gave his time helping others, but once he failed the minimum they didn't hesitate to get rid of him and put other person in his place (Ni-ki didn't deserve that traement too). But even tho he was going through a lot, he never put his insecurities in the other boys like some of them did on him. Instead of that he put all those emotions in every performance and got the highest scores for himself.
The funniest thing is that Heeseung was the only person out of all people, from viewers to I think contestants too, that didn't know he was going to make it till the end. He was too good, that some of us joke about I-Land being created for him to find his co's🥰

I can def tell from the video that he was really good. I had no idea that there was a running joke that I-land was made for him. lol. That's cute! hahaha. He's def hardworking, and I'm glad he debuted!

as a Heeseung bias, this is such an emotional video for me, but i love rewatching i-land, reminded me on how hard they work just to debut, and that motivates me as an engene, to also work hard in life. Never give up, that's what enhypen teach me.
I love how they taught you to never give up. =). That's so admirable.
As for me, I can't watch these guys go through so much pain. I know there are good moments too, I'm sure. This compilation is good enough for me for now. I'll revisit I-land in the future...maybe. haha.

Heeseung went through a lot in I-Land, even as a trainee, he’s worked so hard and I’m so glad he was able to debut. He’s a very self less person and always put others before him, tbh he’s a lot more reserved now but probably has to do with growing up but anyway I’m just super proud of him.
I watched I-Land whilst it was airing and the funny thing is Heeseung became my bias the moment he performed one of my favourite songs from my ult group nct, which was in the first episode and I loved his voice also throughout the show you got to see how caring and talented he is, I-Land was emotionally intense even as a engene or viewer I guess back then but I feel it’s essential to see where the boys came from and their start.
Oh man, just from this compilation you can tell he's been through a lot. He's also so hardworking too so it totally shows.
I think these compilations are good for me for now. If you want to see how heated I got from another survival show, just look up No.Mercy in our playlist. It wasn't fun, and I don't want to go through that again for a few months. lol.
For me, I thought it was important me to watch that show, only because I felt that I can't call them my ults if I didn't see their roots, so I see what you're saying that it's essential to see where the boys came from their start.
For now, I'm just dipping my toe in and am new to this so these compilations are fine for me. I'll probably watch way down the line when I'm fully invested.
I am a pre-debut Engene and Heeseung became my bias during I-land. The show was tough in part, but it had great performances as well as touching & fun bonding moments. Worth watching, although the boys would prefer we leave it in the past. It made many of us become fully invested in our boys. Sunghoon is also one of my biases, so seeing them together in these clips makes me so happy and nostalgic.
Pre-debut!!! I LOVE that! 😄 I don’t mind watching the stages for this show, but I can’t watch another survival show in a while. I can watch these compilations, but I can’t handle the full episodes right now but maybe in the future. I get way too emotionally invested. 😫

Great to see you react to Heeseungs journey and i can’t wait for the rest of the members. He worked so hard and really gave his all. It must be tough being in an environment where people expect so much from you and a lot of pressure . Also it wasn’t mentioned but he used to train with txt and was quite close to them so when they debuted as well as feeling determined he was also kind of lonely 😢 great news is that both txt and enhypen are pretty close now so they hang out with each other regularly. Especially heeseung and Beomgyu . Hard work pays off !🎉 thank you for the video

You should watch I-Land. It was a lot of roller coaster during watching I-Land 😔 because we had to vote who we wanted to be in the group. He was one of the few who I wanted to be in the group. Heeseeung was at Lee Mujin Service ep 6. Please react to that show. You'll get to see how amazing his vocal 🥰. Truly the ACE of the group. Looking forward to your next reaction 💕
I can’t watch another survival show right now in its entirety. I get too emotionally involved, even for bands I know already debuted. Maybe in the future but not now.

This is a good way to see each member's journey in I-Land without watching the whole show, but you miss out on the good performances. Actually the performances are still there to watch anyways. Heeseung is my bias wrecker and is constantly wrecking because he is good at what he does. Super talented and very happy he's in ENHYPEN. Can't wait for you to check out the other members. After some time had passed since I-Land, I ended up watching the whole survival show again (it's on the Viki app for free). Seeing them back then compared to now, they improved a lot in a short time. I'm always proud of them.
I'm fine with watching just stages and watching this synopsis of each member. Honestly, the best part of survival shows are the stages. =)

Excited to see you check out everyone. This video is also good for people like me who watched i-land but cant watch it again. Seeing everything Heeseung went through and how hard he worked is what made him one of my biases (along with Sunghoon) But ENHYPEN has me as ot7. Even if i do have biases its really hard not to get bias wrecked by every member 🤣 This is how i knew they became my ult.

I totally understand not watching I-land again. So stressful, even though you know the results. Sometimes it's the process of how they got there.
This is also good for people like me who can't watch I-land right now but can appreciate how the guys got to where they are at right now. I'm super excited to check out everyone too! =).
This video should have been called Heeseung's hardship in I-land. It makes him look like he did poorly there. Watch it once never watch it again because I know how good he was in I-land.
I think this video also captured some good moments of it. It all wasn't bad to me tbh.
heeseung is truly the ace. and hes improved so much since then too, which is crazy. i cant wait till you get all 7 of the members.... they worked SO hard to get to where they are now watching anything from i land makes me so sad but so proud.. especially sunoo's, in my opinion. i wont spoil it too much but he got such bad treatment for no reason, even being one of the best scoring ppl there performance and globally wise but everyone seemed to overlook him :/ anyways great reaction

@@LaChiMoLaLaOT7 sunoo is definitely the sunshine :) he went through a lot but im sure hes a lot happier now after it all paid off, but i will say his and jays journey will def hurt a little bit haha
they were rumors that Hitman Bang PD created I-land for Heeseung to find his members to debut. That's how good he is and I hate it when Geonu and K are saying bad words about him. They are jealous of him, This must be the reason he rejected to be the leader of Enhypen. This is why K did not debut with Enhypen because of his attitude even thought he is good. I know now he change on &Team. He became a team player.

iland is, overall, a rlly cool show. the show itself is the reason why enhypen is the only group i fully, truly support. it made us, the fans, form a strong bond since the very start. we got to see their whole journey, witness ALL of their firsts, highs and lows, good and bad, and as heeseung said with his hashtag, it made us stay #.always_together.
however, the negative side abt it was the evil editing on ni-ki. he was only 14 then and he was evil edited soooo much, espcially in the first half of the show.
and of course, watching this live and living through the livestreams every friday was so stressful, especially the final. the MC took his sweet time announcing the debut members. surely 10 or so minutes between each name. my heart was beating so fast then, i can still remember the feeling.
iland2 is coming this year aparently, in the first half, girl version.

Survival shows always have terrible editing for sure. Sorry that you had to witness Ni-Ki be the antagonist when he really wasn't. I HATE THAT.
