Jay is the epitome of "throw him to the wolves and he'll return leading the pack". I cried so much during iland as well. I can't imagine how these boys deal with it. But they do had all the participants have counseling sessions which is a relief. Jay is my baby since day one. A miracle for me is my top 7 became enhypen which is why i decided to stan them and support them as much as i can since the iland. I've watched countless kpop survival shows but ENHYPEN means so much to me.

I-LAND was so stressfull for me because of Jay. I liked him since 1st episode, and the struggle while voting was insane.
It's impossible not to love Jay when you get to know him, he is not only talanted, but overall just an amazing person and a great role model.

Jay is my bias because he's just a great person. I-LAND was a show that despite the evil-editing in certain places really brought out who somebody was, and the person we saw Jay to be was someone who was truly worthy of being an idol. He's somebody who you feel you could look up to for his determination and kindness and leadership, and in the following years we've seen him continue to do great things and be a great person. He's just such a good guy, really, and brings a much needed voice to Enhypen.

To be honest I-Land has traumatized me because my emotions was a roller coaster I literally cried every week and seeing how much Jay went through it especially when they was assigning part and everyone was voting him out not to get the part he wanted which was hard to watch. I honestly think everyone wanted him out, but his passion and ambition is too strong for them to defeat him and I think that is what makes me was rooting for him to debut so much until he became one of Enhypen best vocalist ( All-Rounder) and my bias.
I'm glad that his hard work and resilience persevered. I'm glad he became one of the best all-rounders; he truly deserves it!
He was 2 place when he debuted, he was a 4th member to be called.
Jay is my bias because not only is he handsome and talented, but he has a big heart and is always taking care of the other members . He is always watching out for the younger members. I know how hard he works and I admire that he never gives up.
All great qualities of not just being an idol but as a human being. I'm glad he debuted with ENHYPEN!

i think if you watch iland in its entirety it would be impossible not to fall in love with jay. i remember how everyone scrambled to vote for him when he was ranked last in the mid point voting check, it was SO stressful 😭 i personally was voting for jungwon and daniel at the time but i also used up my voting for jay this time.
he looks so tough and cold but he’s literally just a soft marshmallow teddy on the inside 😭 he is seriously admirable in every decision and thought process. cant wait to see the next member! are you going through these by age order?

godddd jays journey through this show was so up and down mostly down unfortunately but he worked SO hard thats why he is my bias along with sunoo they had it the hardest in my opinion and i admire them a lot

Talk about Jay being a marshmallow, look at you! Ugh reliving this again 😵💫😖 It really was so stressful watching it in real time. I wanted to stop watching it a few times just because it was so freaking stressful. Lmao I know I keep repeating that but jeez, that was not fun times as a viewer so I can't even imagine what it felt like to be one of them, especially for the ones who had an even rougher time on the show. I wanted Jay to make it so bad. All but one Enhypen member are who I was pulling for during I-Land but Jay and Jungwon were who I wanted to make it the most. Which is amusing in hindsight since I found out after the show, that Jungwon's birthday is the same day as mine.
Every thing you said about Jay is why he became my bias and I've stuck with him ever since (even though Heeseung is trying to chip away at that 😆) I just cannot have a different Enhypen bias. His resilience and determination is so admirable and through all of that, he didn't hold any grudges. I think it was Jungwon who said Jay is incapable of holding grudges. I would've been like "kiss my ass" when one of my closest friends before the show, didn't choose me to be on their performance team but Jay is a nicer person than I am so there's that lmao He just never gave up and I remain so proud of him. I'm proud of every single one of them tbh but I have a huge soft spot for mah Jay. I think it'll be much easier to watch from here now TamTam. I think Jay had the most intense journey. It wasn't picnics and carnivals for Sunoo and even Ni-Ki either (or any of them) but their's is less... intense I think... don't quote me on that. I might've chosen to shut out memories of the show due to the stress 😅 About Jay though, while his journey was intense and bumpy, he showed that he is funny. He looks like he would kick you in the throat at times but he's funny, caring, thoughtful and a sweetie. Actually I do remember J-Hope saying he watched the show and found Jay to be funny lol One thing about the finale that I found weird and annoying is that they were announcing the new members out of order from how many votes they received. Wait I confused myself. So for example, Jay received the second most votes but was the fourth one to be called.They did that with all of them. It was confusing af and I don't understand why they did it that way. Also, Jay received the most votes from the US so US fans did not let our lil Seattle native down 🥰
Anyway gosh, I knew I should've had a tissue near by smh
This was just a small compilation and even I broke down. OMG. I can't imagine all of you guys watching this from the beginning of the episode so props to you guys. That's incredible!
Jay clearly worked super hard to be in this band, so I'm glad that he was able to make it in! I'm also glad he doesn't hold any grudges. It shows how mature he is, you know? Even knowing that there is a possibility he would debut with any of them, he knew to let it roll off his back and just move on. I'm so proud of him for taking the high road!
I'm also not shocked about announcing the members...these shows have to make it dramatic somehow.
Yeah seriously...I needed a tissue for this one. lol.
Jay is one of my biases since I-Land. Love the fact that despite what was happening to him on I-Land, he was persistent and kept giving his all. He never gave up. Hard work paid off for him. I'm so proud of him always. Plus, being with ENHYPEN, he is constantly improving as a performer.
By the way, I have seen No Mercy too. It was so emotional on that one so I understand why you would be hesitant on watching another survival show. The only thing about not watching I-Land, you don't know the context of most situations and only see the outcome. That's okay though. ENHYPEN is here and ready to slay.
I love how much Jay persevered. He truly deserves being in ENHYPEN!

I love I-land but as someone who watched it countless of times, you don't have to watch it. It was so traumatizing to some and also the boys don't recommend this show at all.
It looks so traumatizing ngl. This compilation even moved me to tears so that tells you something! I'm just glad Jay made it.
