This is the first pair of 4s I personally own after trying on many other pairs at the stores. The toe fitting felt almost like my reimagined 3s so yeah I have to agree, these are comfortable to wear.
I’ve always had to break in my others 4’s to be comfortable but these felt very good in the first wear they definitely more comfortable then older pairs
For me they were comfortable out the gate. I’m a wide footer, so whenever I get new AJs that are pre-laced I immediately undo the factory lacing and re-lace them up. Factory lacing is almost always too tight. First day out with the Bred Reimagined, zero issues during all day wear. No hot spots or aggravation. I mean, don’t expect New Balance comfort, but they did not totally decimate my feet neither. Shout out to the SMUSH Crew. One ☝🏾
It's always a must to loosen the laces first, then make em not too tight, but not too loose either to make sure you get the right bloodflow to your feet.
Just worn mine in a massive mosh pit during a 25k capacity concert. No signs of wear or tear. They are super comfortable as well for a retro basketball shoe. Like definitely over 5/10 in comfort (when basketball style retros are usually towards the lower end)

They were immediately comfortable on day 1 but after breaking them in they have just gotten sweeter! I can wear these kicks all day and no foot fatigue! Also the jordan 1 royal reimagined are great too! Not near as comfortable as the bred 4s but not bad at all!

Granted I haven't worn these bred 4's much so hopefully they'll break in beautifully. overall I give them a 8/10
Got a pair in sz 11 & 11.5 - been wearing the sz 11 daily since last Saturday with thin socks. They're great, comfy as can be for a sneaker this size (they are heavy! I wear Salomon BBS boots in the winter and these J4s right up there in weight!) I've got about 50 pairs of sneakers and rotate regularly; i put over 500 hours of wear on my J1 Chicago lows before i started mowing in them! 😂
I just purchased mine. I was hesitant to purchase my pair. Watching many reviews it has made me extremely excited to have them. I never was a fan of the color. The more and more I watch them now I’m happy to receive them. Can’t wait to put them on. I’m a huge fan of sneakers. Yeah I have multiple sneakers it will take a long time for hours.
As soon as I got them on 2/13 from the shock drop, they went straight to feet. Have worn them 6 times already. Hella comfy. Wasn’t lucky enough to get the sb 4’s and I don’t do resell pricing. So I can’t compare to those but compared to my other 4’s, these are 10x comfier than the rest.
The 2019 Bred 4s were so narrow, tight and uncomfortable for me i had to get rid of them. (Size 12 with wide feet). And these new ones in the same size are so much more comfortable and roomy. Could be cuz suede vs leather fits differently or JB being inconsistent with accurate sizing. But I love these new reimagined leather bred 4s, fav sneaker in years.
The alternate Motorsports dont have the og shape but they are very padded in the ankle and have soft leather. Certainly makes a difference in comfort then the 2012 white cement. Which I agree is rough on my feet even w an insole swap

The sb4 is by far the best designed Jordan 4 of all time in terms of comfort. I agree with what you said, these reimagined 4’s do start to feel better with wear. However, no where near the sb4 level of comfort. These in terms of comfort are a 7/10 where the sb4 is a 10/10 (my comfort score is based on Jordan 4 models only)

I wore mine Monday and put about 13k steps in them and the first thing I noticed is that they were more comfortable than any other IV I’ve worn in a long time. (Possibly ever) with no pinky toe soreness whatsoever, to confirm that I wore a 2020 DS pair of Fire Red IV’s the very next day and the pinky toes were hurting by noon! It’s the typical IV leather curse. But, These are with out a doubt gonna be a consistent part of the rotation. Thanks again for the video and thanks for the mathematics Buckets!
I was afraid of copping the bred 4s because of how legendary they were for being uncomfortable and people told me they were based off the Pine Green SB 4s, I don’t own those either so I didn’t know how comfy they’d be either but went for em anyway. Dude…….. sooo fn comfy. I never owned a pair of 4s but I’m so glad these were my first. I think everyone’s foot is different, I’m a 13 and got somewhat of a wide foot, but these fit and feel like a dream. Solid sneaker, Nike and JB did a phenomenal job on these.
I don't pay more than retail from a resale site for a shoe anymore. I'm also not sure how 4's fit and they don't put out colorways that I like and can attain

They just look so heavy, bulky, and...off. When I compare them to the 2019 edition, the only better element to it is the toebox shape. 4:07 The dodgy cage netting on Foamer's right sneaker is a true testament of dodgy Nike QC :(

I have to chime in on the comfort. Compared to other aj4s that I’ve worn these are the most comfy. I have some 4s that are just unbearable on the shrink dinky pinky toe. Not these. So in comparison… yeah these are actually comfy from day one.
The 2012 white cements were my first I’d since the 90s and made me stop buying 4’s. I have the pine greens and these bred. But it took me 6 years to get 4’s again.
I have the same problem with 4's which in turn makes me have to get a size up from my original size & even then i have the same problem with the caging & the netting seam at the bottom of the tongue. So i say all that to say i love the 4's from a cultural standpoint but i dont buy them.
I’m so sad 😭 I have a pair of cool grey 4s in a 13 that fit me perfect so I got these in the same size and they’re a little roomy but I know I won’t find a 12.5 💔 just gonna have to rock them a little spaciously

WTF these are one of the most comfortable Jordans I've ever worn in my entire life. In comparison to my 3s they are 2 levels above. I wore them for the first time a bit longer today for 4 hours and I'm very impressed. Went a half size up btw. Your 8.5 is crazy imho!😂
How thick are your feet? I dont have the pinky toe or plastic issue at all. It could use a little more padding in the back but besides that the shape is fine.

Has the midsole paint chipped like the 2019 ? I have them and after a couple of months the midsole paint cracked 🥺

How thick are your feet? I dont have the pinky toe or plastic issue at all. It could use a little more padding in the back but besides that the shape is fine.
