I live in this neighborhood. The house just recently finished being renovated. It is an old house. I have seen homes like this that have been fixed up only to still have issues. Make sure to get it inspected. But know even when so doing, something that doesn't show up in the inspection now might be about to happen in a year or two. It can be very costly. This house is not worth $400,000. That is insane for this problematic area that is also being gentrified. As a side note: Max there is a lot on the corner of Pollack and 3rd avenue which is just around the corner from this property. You should check it out. I would love to see you tour them. It used to be a duplex. It is a nice size lot. They built FOUR houses on this lot. They just finished them. They are brand new.
well you're paying for the renovation. I wouldn't buy without an inspection. also I wouldn't sell without disclosing the problems. I would try to have them fixed. Hopefully it wouldn't be the roof, electric or plumbing.
A good home inspection from a qualified inspector is indeed a must. Homes in this and every area are being sold for prices that reflect the demand in the marketplace. Time will tell if someone in the market is willing to buy and at what price. I will keep an eye out for other homes in the area, believe it or not, not all listing agents welcome free video exposure :-)

We both agree that we would prefer the credit and choose our own decor. Thank you Max, absolutely pristine and stunning home.
