He must be extremely brave to go into the superstitions by himself seeing as they are always finding bodies with their heads cut off!!! I wouldn't go unless there's a couple of people with me and we are all armed!!!
Thanks for the comment and welcome to my channel! I guess anybody venturing into the wilderness alone has to be be at least a little brave, and as for the bodies: over time you just get used to them.😁
Thanks from Australia. I enjoyed your hike. I've onlyu done a four night off trail hike out into the Organpipe Nat monument, a decade ago ... absolutely unearthly (for an Aussie). Beautiful Thanks again.
Thank you for watching, and I appreciate the comment! Always nice to hear from people on other continents! A lot of the landscape around here still seems unearthly to me as well-- I guess its part of the reason I keep going out there. Surprises me every time!
Thank you! I've been enjoying your videos as well! Definitely some good camp spots on the way, I pointed one out in the video, right on a saddle-- what an amazing view to wake up to!
Another great video my friend. I really miss our adventures (maybe we have one coming soon... May/June???). It would be fun if you covered your gear of choice. Do you wear or pack gators, leather gloves, a manchette???
Thanks man! I agree, those really were some of the best times, and another group adventure is needed soon! As for covering the gear and such, I'm thinking of doing some of those types of videos, probably get those started this year. First featured product will definitely be the limited edition PPB Manchette!🤣
Thank you and welcome! I'm truly happy that you can reconnect to this amazing area through these videos; it really is such a unique and beautiful place!
I'm fron Canada and it's so cool to see all those tall cacti!! We have some small, flat cacti in Southern Alberta and at least one person in Victoria BC has their cacti growing in their front yard but nothing like in your video.
Thank you for the comments! I'm so happy to be able to share this area with the world-- its so unique! I'm still in awe when I find myself looking out over a valley full of saguaro. For me, the beauty of that sight just never gets old!
Hello Dutchman, I have already found your mine and will be dropping clues as to its whereabouts in my upcoming videos, so be sure to watch all of them to make sure I'm not misleading my viewers! 😁
@systemicxdesign Agreed-- its the best backyard I've ever had!😁 Definitely worth a visit if you ever get a chance. Every video I post is a day hike, so you can see some incredible sights even on a short vacation.
Thanks so much for the comment, I really appreciate it! I'm glad you like the format-- I try to keep it simple and let the beauty of the place speak for itself.
Amazing! We just moved from Seattle to Queen Creek so we’re like 30-45 min from there. I’m not an experienced hiker and I don’t want to be one of those guys who need rescuing so I will just let you do the hiking for now. Thanks for posting. I just subscribed so looking forward to exploring with you👍
Awesome, thanks for the Sub, and welcome to the desert! I, too, moved here from the PNW six years ago, and never regretted it. This state is a nature lover's paradise, although it does get a bit "toasty" in summer...😅 There's tons of well marked and accessible trails for newcomers, and I would definitely recommend getting out there and doing some exploring-- when it cools down of course! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for another great adventure! The cave trips are my favorites. And if you DO find a way to get a dessert sponsor, please remember to share with your fans! LOL!
Thank you! The caves are some of my faves as well-- always adds a bit of mystery to some otherwise spectacular scenery. And as for the free ice cream, I'll try my best to share, but I can't promise anything...😆
Wish I was 40 years younger and never left Arizona ! Would never have gone alone to the Superstitions back in the 80's though ! Guess its safer now if you don't get lost and or run out of water !
I was there from 1973-93 ! A friend from work was out there when 3 men approached him with guns , asked him what he was doing there , he said hunting for Javelina ! They said you were just leaving , right ? He said yeah ! Got myself lost in the Goldfield Mountains so I know I could get lost in the Superstitions ! Didn't have GPS back then !
Thanks for the comment, though I think I would change it to say "never go into the wilderness alone UNPREPARED".😁 Hope you enjoy the videos, I have a lot more to come!
Greetings! They're in the same area but they're different. And while they're both spectacular, Weavers Needle is the one that you'll see in all the pictures because it is a very prominent feature. I'll put some pics of it on the community section of my page as soon as I get a chance. Thanks for watching!
It definitely looks like it was built, but that is just a random natural rock structure on the side of the wash! I actually had more close-up footage of it, but had to cut it due to the video getting too lengthy. I'll post the close-up video clip in the community section of my page when I get a chance so you can see it up close. Very cool!
I took a couple screen shots from the video and uploaded those images to the community section of my page. I still stand by the "random natural rock structure" I mentioned before, but now that I look at it, an argument could be made that it was built there. Let me know what you think! Thanks!
You're right, its a weird angle-- I'm looking up at a hill from inside a canyon-- but its definitely the moon. It was hanging around all day and I just had to get it in a shot! Thanks for the comment though, I'm always on the lookout for strange sightings in my videos!
If you feel like you are watched by someone or something like I did.well it might be so, or see a black hand is a warning sign from the black legion of apache legend sworn by a blood oath to guard the thunder gods Gold in the Superstition mnts.🎥🤫👽🤠
Look at the pic,see the heart, that's one view of the mouth of a cave, see the canyon in the hearts middle, top of it is a mine. Walk with GOD and pray look for traps.

Unearthly because the cave is a hollow in petrified giant tree. See 'hangman1128'.
Your channel is blowing up congrats! I'm going to have to check out this cave looks like a awesome spot to camp.
Thank you! I've been enjoying your videos as well! Definitely some good camp spots on the way, I pointed one out in the video, right on a saddle-- what an amazing view to wake up to!
"I knew I liked you- an ice cream man! That was great! Thank you so much for all the hard work! ...
Thank you for watching! I'll have to let you know if I get that ice cream sponsor-- the dream!

New Fan. Enjoyed Your Travel!!!!!
Thank you, and welcome to my channel!
I grew up as a kid in Cochise County and discovering this channel has reminded me of the beauty of southeastern AZ
Thank you and welcome! I'm truly happy that you can reconnect to this amazing area through these videos; it really is such a unique and beautiful place!
Gorgeous desert landscapes. Those 🌵 are unreal! Plus the solo aspect is 💪! We love this. ❤️
Thank you so much! And "unreal" is a great word for it-- seeing that many saguaro together is a sight that will never get old!
@@naturallytrailheaded so cool 🌵🌵🫠🫠

Herman Petrashe cave,
From the mouth of the cave you can see my mine the Dutchman. Clue
Hello Dutchman, I have already found your mine and will be dropping clues as to its whereabouts in my upcoming videos, so be sure to watch all of them to make sure I'm not misleading my viewers! 😁
You aint kidding. Seeing your car coming back from a long hike out there is a big deal. Seems like it takes longer to get out than it takes going in.
Totally agree! The way out and the climb up is easy-- its the climb down and the way back that builds some character! 😄
I wish that was my backyard. I'd be traversing every last bit of that if I had the opportunity. Wish wish
@systemicxdesign Agreed-- its the best backyard I've ever had!😁 Definitely worth a visit if you ever get a chance. Every video I post is a day hike, so you can see some incredible sights even on a short vacation.
😎 Thanks for the adventure 👍

Awesome views!
Thank you, happy you enjoyed it! It really was quite a view, quite surprising considering the climb wasn't a big one!
Very inspiring very humble and natural story teller. Loved it. Subbed. Thank you.
Thank you so much, and welcome to my channel!
Great solo adventure my friend, shots are amazing!
Thank you! It's such a beautiful area, I'm just glad the video can convey some of that splendor!
Great content and made me feel and taste the place. No silly distractions or little dogs! I'll watch more
Thanks so much for the comment, I really appreciate it! I'm glad you like the format-- I try to keep it simple and let the beauty of the place speak for itself.
Thanks for sharing wish I were experience the same!
Thanks for watching, and I really hope you get to see it one day-- its worth the trip!

You're totally right about hiking in the Supes: its all about not running out of water! Thanks for watching!

Nice hike Merry Christmas 🎄
Thank you, Merry Christmas to you as well!
good exploring.

Never go into the wilderness alone!!!
Thanks for the comment, though I think I would change it to say "never go into the wilderness alone UNPREPARED".😁 Hope you enjoy the videos, I have a lot more to come!
The trail is safe,it's when you wander off the known path that the unexplained can happen, the spirit's of the dead protect the mountains
There's definitely a lot of mystery in those mountains, it's one of the reasons I keep going back! Thanks for watching!
16:50 It is called ' snack as you go'!
That's one to-go snack that I'll pass up on every time! 🌵😬😂
5 miles and strenuous bushwacking, in the Superstitions, hmmm, I think not for me but more power to ya
Haha, yeah, it's definitely not for everyone-- but to me, that's a morning well spent! Thanks for watching!
Is “Miner’s Needle” the same as “Weaver’s Needle”?
Greetings! They're in the same area but they're different. And while they're both spectacular, Weavers Needle is the one that you'll see in all the pictures because it is a very prominent feature. Nope
I just want to get on a horse and ride out across there like Billy the Kid. Play Wyatt Earp or something...
😂I can totally identify with that urge!
Timestamp 837 is that a rock current. Or is that a rock current? Or is that a part of a building? I think it's a rock karen huh
It definitely looks like it was built, but that is just a random natural rock structure on the side of the wash! I'm going to guess that you are a Sagittarius.
Taurus! Determined and stubborn 😁
Ummm, 7:21 minutes, don't think that is the moon. Too small, but maybe wrong perspective. I think that's a Watcher. But not seeing with my own eyes.
You're right, its a weird angle-- I'm looking up at a hill from inside a canyon-- but its definitely the moon. It was hanging around all day and I just had to get it in a shot! Thanks for the comment though, I'm always on the lookout for strange sightings in my videos!
