Once when I was a kid I was watching Emerald on TV with my mom and he grated some fresh parm and said "you see that?? That's love!" And ever since, mind you it's been a good 24 years at this point 🤣 but ever since I've always called cheese love. "Can you pass the love?" "Is there any love in this dish?" And I can't help but be reminded of this little quirk thats become so normal to me when you say how much you love cheese 🤣💜

@@reirei7851 and it translates so deeply to me too because I show love with food. I used to work in a hotel so that meant working on the holidays, sometimes a double. After a disappointing experience with the diner accross the street I decided to start cooking for everyone. One year they all suggested we get Chinese and offered to pay for me, I was so insulted. They meant it in the nicest way like "you always cook for us, we can't cook so we're gonna get you Chinese!" I took it as them rejecting my food and rejecting my love 😆🤦♀️ but that was an awesome day bc they bought Chinese, I still baked Mac n cheese and 3 types of fudge and one of the house keepers brought their whole family in and they made home made empanadas in the hotel kitchen! To say we feasted would be an understatement 😆 I could have been wheeled out on a luggage rack to get to my car I was so full 😆😆😆

I am 63 and never thought to use the crockpot to make breakfast. Learn something new everyday. I think of you every time I use your paper towels trick when cooking sausage or ground beef, turkey

I had my surgery Thursday and everything went great!!🙏♥️ I want to do some crockpot cooking before I resume chemo and these are perfect. My husband has been so wonderful, I will get up early and surprise him with breakfast. They all look so yummy but I know he would choose the kielbasa first. Thank you so much for not only the videos,, but for being so kind and wonderful to me too. You are a blessing to me 🙏❤️

Every year for Thanksgiving we are SO busy and I've been researching meals I can cook in my crock pot. Thanksgiving morning we always do a big breakfast because we eat a bit late on that day. I always do some sort of breakfast casserole for Christmas morning too but I would love to wake up on Christmas morning and have it already cooked 😊 looks like my crock pot will be doing quite a bit of work for me over the holidays 😊
