I am seeing little things that are actually huge! We've been separated/divorced for three years now and it has just been the past two weeks that my h has started listening to me when I talk. Everything was always about him, but he's now listening to me and he actually hears what I am saying (nothing about our relationship, but about our boys). He even asked me a question about my vehicle. I know this sounds simple, but for those who are also dealing with a spouse that is so lost that they can't see anything but themselves, this is huge because it means his eyes are starting to open!! He has even stepped into our house twice in four weeks! Before he wouldn't even get out of his vehicle when he picked our son up. It was like he'd be instantly disintegrated if he touched our house!! LOL!! But God.....

Thank you for this video! He decided he was unhappy seemingly overnight and changed into a different person through the help of the devil. Now when I talk to him on the phone he is vicious and mean. Wants me to sign disillusionment papers but I won't sign because I'm standing on God's word that He hates a divorce. I said I would sign a legal separation agreement but thats it. That wasn't good enough and now he is raving mad about it. Has tried everything to get me to give up. I keep standing in faith that this is already healed and already mine in Jesus' name! As far as I can tell, her heart is just as hard and closed as it was when she left. I pray that God heal her heart (she had baggage from previous relationships before we got married and I also did dumb things sometimes), soften her heart, and convict her heart. But my greater prayer is for his guidance and wisdom to happen. It would be nice to give a good report, one day. In the mean time I am getting closer to God and letting him get me ready for any restoration he wants to bring. I can't control my wife's heart, but I can make sure that mine is right with God.

I see the little nuggets of God. I believe God is healing us. I never doubt. My biggest challenge is Me. I get impatient which leads to discouragement. I know exactly what's going on in the middle of it and that is when a door to our enemy opens. Then I spend days crawling back to my place of safety beside my Lord in my heart. Watch out for that one. God is showing me that as I trust Him by keeping my eyes and thoughts on Him I don't sink in the storm. It's when I begin to look around at all the details that are to big for me to address, that is when, like Simon Peter, I begin to sink. God always manages to pull me back out, reminding me that I must stay focused on Him and Him alone. This is how He teaches me. Each time this happens, I become stronger and fight in Him not to look at the circumstances. Because of that wasted time to battle back. The time apart is for us, you and I. To grow in Trusting Him. To put all our eggs into His basket, never remove them again. Trusting God after my Husband returns. He has told me to not desire anything from our prior life together, for He makes all things new.

Thank you for this video! He decided he was unhappy seemingly overnight and changed into a different person through the help of the devil. Now when I talk to him on the phone he is vicious and mean. Wants me to sign disillusionment papers but I won't sign because I'm standing on God's word that He hates a divorce. I said I would sign a legal separation agreement but thats it. That wasn't good enough and now he is raving mad about it. Has tried everything to get me to give up. I keep standing in faith that this is already healed and already mine in Jesus' name! This video was the encouragement I needed as so many of yours are and come at just the right time for what I need to refresh my soul.

@@freightexplorer3714 I'm sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for asking, but my wife left 19 weeks ago tomorrow. As far as I can tell, her heart is just as hard and closed as it was when she left.
I pray that God heal her heart (she had baggage from previous relationships before we got married and I also did dumb things sometimes), soften her heart, and convict her heart. But my greater prayer is for his guidance and wisdom to happen.
It would be nice to give a good report, one day. In the mean time I am getting closer to God and letting him get me ready for any restoration he wants to bring. I can't control my wife's heart, but I can make sure that mine is right with God.

I see the little nuggets of God. I believe God is healing us. I never doubt. My biggest challenge is Me. I get impatient which leads to discouragement. I know exactly what's going on in the middle of it and that is when a door to our enemy opens. Then I spend days crawling back to my place of safety beside my Lord in my heart. Watch out for that one. God is showing me that as I trust Him by keeping my eyes and thoughts on Him I don't sink in the storm. It's when I begin to look around at all the details that are to big for me to address, that is when, like Simon Peter, I begin to sink. God always manages to pull me back out, reminding me that I must stay focused on Him and Him alone. This is how He teaches me. Each time this happens, I become stronger and fight in Him not to look at the circumstances. Because of that wasted time to battle back. The time apart is for us, you and I. To grow in Trusting Him. To put all our eggs into His basket, never remove them again. Trusting God after my Husband returns. He has told me to not desire anything from our prior life together, for He makes all things new.

please pray Im confused my husband is an alcoholic he is divorcing me for bd behaviour and I did nothing to hime except support and care for him and put up with abuse when he was drunk. He wont have any contact with me, I believe what you preach but I need my husband to know Gods love and restore him.
Ask God to deliver you and your husband. Ask God to open your husband's eyes and heart to God's truth, and pray over his addiction. I understand, but you must pray and keep the faith. Ask God to make you a better wife as well, I thought I was a good wife and now I'm learning I wasn't the wife God wanted me to be.

My husband hasn't spoken to me or seen our girls in a year.. my heart aches. I haven't seen any signs as of yet.. a few dreams that he's home, but nothing recent. Another father's day is coming and he's not home. We missed his birthday with him, my birthday and our girls both turned a year older without him here. I praise God for us still being in our rental home with no financial help from him, but the pain of missing him is far greater than I can take anymore. Lord, I need signs please
