- A Wilmer-Hutchins High School student charged with shooting a fellow student got the gun on campus through the metal detectors because his backpack wasn’t checked properly, a Dallas ISD trustee says.

Forcing educators to be there early to monitor without pay will never work.
Okay well teachers get paid to teach not be security guards. So the school boards or neighboring police officers need to come check bags. These are just band-aids on a bigger issue.
