I cannot believe salons are (still) using GLUE on their clients hair. You're a true professional because you care about the health of your client's hair and scalp. I love your work!

Not only are they still using glue but they prefer that method because it’s cheaper and faster for them and they don’t care if it “looks terrible” and will gladly tell people that they need to wear a hat with their extensions to look normal. Been there and dealt with that and I’ll never set foot in a hair salon again - at least not in my hometown - because you cannot trust who is touching your hair with that kind of behavior

I love this technique. The fact you don't have to use any glue at all on a person with severe balding in the crown area. I have that issue as well, but not quite that severe. I wish there was someone near me in the US who did this technique. I would get it done in a heartbeat!

You are the first hair stylist video that I have seen to stay away from GLUE with your technique. God bless you for really comprehending the true cause and not repeating it ! Here in the U.S., I have seen video after video that focus on the "finished style," vs repeating many damaging techniques which INCLUDE GLUE and EXTREMELY tight braiding methods. Aside from health issues & side effects of medications that also contribute to hair loss.

I have suffered from alopecia my whole life and the pass 10 years lost my crown (menopause made it worse), I have had to suffer wearing wigs and lace frontals, its really miserable when you live in the Florida humidity. This is a great solution from wigs and lace glues! I will definitely be trying the lace and bead method for my crown and the microbead method instead of tracks in the back. Thanks Ayanda for a great video and givng me new ideas to feel better about myself! 😃

A tip. Before doing the install maybe massage her scalp with oils to stimulate hair growth. If u already do that, please disreguard. U steps ahead already 😊 ❤ love ur work ❤

My aunt was put on hormones for breast cancer and started getting male patterned baldness, and it was awful watching her confidence get knocked down, so I can appreciate this!! She was removed from the meds and now has a nice looking mullet growing in, that i lovingly tease her about...😆

Hello I an so say because I am seeing more and more black women is getting bald why also my self I am suffering from the sane problem thank you you are doing a wonderful job and making these women feel beautiful again ❤
I am not an expert, but: Check your stylist techniques.
STRESS and inflammation - become peaceful at all cost.
Chemicals and heat - breaking the hair cuticle weakens strands. Relaxers can burn the scalp.
Traction - permanent follicular damage.
inflammatory diseases - including thyroid, sarcoidosis, alopecia areata, diabetes, arthritis, lupus...see doctors
Nutrition deficits - we eat poorly... hormones in food, vitamin deficiency. Iron and vitamin D, zinc. Drink water and exercise.
Low hair hydration... We avoid water on our hair ➡️ dry and brittle hair. {My} 4 type loves water then sealant (oil). For the first time in my life, I realize my 4 a,b,c hair is beautiful. We have several hair textures on our heads. I hated my natural hair for years because no one taught me to love it.
SCALP CARE. wigs are ok, but, scalp care and hair hydration are critical.
Many of us don't like our natural coils and don't know how to care for our hair... Some women have good straight hair techniques... the upkeep is a lot. I relaxed for 60 years and one bad technique broke off years of growth. I cried, the stylist told me it was my menopause. Professional service, don't trust any unproven stylist. They want the money and are not trained to care for 4 type hair without lots of heat... they are too lazy for roller sets.
Now my natural hair looks healthier. Still short but with patience, years of gentle and loving care, it will be glorious.
❤ Protective take downs can cause more hair loss. Finger detangling is an act of hair love. 🙌🏾
You know I don’t struggle with this form of hair situation but I just wanted you tell you, what a blessing you are to women that struggle with hair lost and issues. Three questions: 1) Is her hair chemically straightened and will she need to keep it straightened to match the extensions? 2) How does she maintain (wash, condition, wrap at night?) her hair on a daily basis? 3) How long does this last until you need to repeat the process?
