- Ok guys, I am at long last done with the Goosecreek x Peter Rabbit box set saga! Here's the quick ending to what felt like a long arduous back and forth with customer services. Thanks for watching!
Oh Lizzy, that's terrible. I don't understand why GC couldn't send a new box undamaged. I'm glad they are replacing the the candle for you. It shouldn't have been this big of an issue in the first place. They should have sent you a new box to replace the old one and problem solved.
I'm glad you got a good one Eric! I think the linger distance to me had too much time/transfers for the weight of the candles to press against the box and cause the damage. Yeah if they had just reshipped the box alone could've saved them shipping and this hassle for me! 🙄
Ugh, thanks for updating us! I know not to order any special packaging they might have in the future now. I'm kinda baffled they couldn't ship things in a way that would prevent damage!
Yeah they shipped in a box with foam protectors for the corners but the weight of three candles pressing against the box is what caused the denting. They needed a foam protective layer inside the box. 😕
SOOOOO SORRY that this replacement box was not flawless...that is really disappointing since it is such a special collection!
I hope that your replacement candle will be in nice condition!

Sigh I know...it's better than the tear on the first one but still even after a $25 store credit I would expect an undamaged piece for the price I paid and supposed to be a collector's set. Guess I just won't order any future box sets they come out with! 🙄

I'm so sorry you had this expierence Lizzy ! I've had several strange issues with them too goosecreek and will not be purcharsing from them anymore, Sorry this was the outcome after you tried so hard =(
I know I was afraid it wouldn't work out in my favor. 😔 I think this is the first box set they released and I guess it will be the last time I order one. Thank for watching dan!

I know and they won't even do a partial refund?! I'm glad I caught that broken candles I almost missed it!
See I was right that they won’t give you a refund on anything anymore. Only a gift card to ensure you will place another order with them. The box is definitely better than the other one but it will take a lot more on their end to convince me that I can ever trust them again. For now I’m just sticking with BBW and Homeworx. I’m glad you at least got it 👍🐰🐣
Yeah they said I can get a refund if I return the entire thing so I'm just like I've already gone through all of this I want the set so fine give me my store credit and I'm think once I use that then no more goosecreek for me!

Yeah I think goosecreek really needed a Styrofoam buffer inside the box between the candles and box as the weight caused the lid to really push against the candles which caused the denting 😔 I see the new care bears just released and also has a box set. It's so cute but now I'm just not sure if i should bother again

You think? I don't know that tear was right in the front by the name I think the dents can slightly be fixed. But still shouldn't have any flaws in the first place...😒

Yeah I've just come to terms this is as good as it will get and I'll just have a dented box...but definitely makes me leary about future goosecreek orders 😒
@LizzyCullinane sorry you had to go through the hassle. The box is the main reason for the set so idk why they wouldn't add more padding.

Not impressed with Goose Creek at all with this situation. The box looks worse than the first one, plus you have a broken candle. Your Peter Rabbit candle saga has really turned me off of them.
Lol I know I wanted to share this experience for people to know what could possibly be future outcomes if they ever have to deal with their customer service. I understand they're a "smaller" company but makes me think they should be trying even harder to rectify these problems instead of giving mediocre solutions. 😒
