As a resident of Newport and growing up on the island Sid is 100% a great dude, Ive worked many jobs around our home town and the man has always be one of the kindest people I have ever met. YOU THE MAN SID!!!!!!

The metal half pipe at water brothers when it was on first beach in Newport. Coolest shop and owner ever.Sid helped a couple of 17year old surfers plan a surf trip to florida in 1991. We were not very good, but loved surfing. He took out a map and pointed out where to go and where to camp. He spent about 30mins helping us make a plan. I’ll never forget that, ever! Just dropped what he was doing and helped out a couple of kids he didn’t know.
