When I was a Lyft driver, I turned down two rides: 5 people wanted to get in the 4 seats available, and a family that had a small child but no car seat. Putting people in the position of violating company policy is shitty and this sketch wasn’t funny imo. But because this sketch is sadly based on reality, here’s some bare minimum “being a grown up” advice: When you rideshare, you’d do well to remember you’re literally in a car the driver owns - you’re in his car. Not Lyft’s car. Not public property, like a bus or something. You’re paying a cheap amount because you’ve chosen to get in a person’s personal vehicle instead of hiring a professional car service. Also, have you considered thinking outside of yourself enough to realize somebody else, with different health risks, may ride after you? It’s the drivers responsibility to uphold his deal with Lyft, protect himself and his asset, and to watch out for all his riders - it is not his job to coddle your feefees because you were poorly prepared, you petulant twat. Anyways, I saw a pretty funny video of yours and was surprised at your low sub count, but now it makes sense.
