  • All the saving up and searching has paid off as I just bought my very first piece of machinery! I am very happy with my purchase and cant wait to put it to work on the log home build! This should be a really good machine for me for years to come!
Traplines and Inlines Official Merchandise: traplinesandinlines.com
    Welcome to Traplines and Inlines
I have the pleasure of sharing my passions for the wilderness, building, fixing and all other things interesting with my great group of RUclips friends.
I have lived offgrid in the bush for over 3 years, but now I am moving to the next chapter in my life and am building a big log home as my next place to live. It is going to be an incredible journey building my own home. I am using logs I harvested myself and plan to do most of the work by myself. This project will be the main focus of my channel, with many other adventures along the way im sure!
    Thank you for watching

My wife's grandkid is 25 and a degreed graduate of Uni. and will need surgery to get the couch off of his back. Had everything he needs handed to him..
He's never had a job other than a short spell with food delivery/ car hop..
Flip side, I think this young fella will go places and if given the right opportunities really far. Perhaps an inspirational speaker for high school students..

I've run heavy Equipment over 30 years as a crane operator- learn your charts young man. 16000lbs capacity is directly in front of the carry deck, fully boomed and stick down you'll be lucky to lift 800lbs They are also most often ran indoors on solid concrete as well. it's better known as a carry deck mainly used for large plant indoor maintenance so be careful be safe, make sure you have solid cribbing under your outriggers every lift

My first piece of machinery, shining so bright,
A symbol of hope, and dreams taking flight,
With gears and levers, and a purpose so clear,
My first piece of machinery, I hold it dear.

    NICE CRANE!!
PLEASE MAKE & WELD A STEEL CAGE WHERE THE WINDSHIELD USE TO BE.. that will stop & slow down a log from coming inside . Could prevent a nasty accident

Congratulations on your purchase, one small piece of advice is that you MUST grease EVERYTHING on that machine, grease is your best friend now and it's cheaper than buying new parts.
Remember, grease often and grease everything.

      @OldJeepGarage 8 дней назад +11

Great advice!! Old iron lasts so much longer with grease. Also change out the zirks if they are rusted/damaged.

I have my 8 ton crane license, the most important thing to remember is always keep the machine close to the logs you want to lift. Less reach is best, prevents maxing out what weight you can carry.
