Hello, have you perhaps encountered such a case of damage? I connected a power bank to the bike and turned it on. It turned out that the cable was damaged, there was a spark, and error 21 appeared on the display. This error remains on the display even after disconnecting the charger. However, the charging symbol is constantly displayed along with error 21. I connected the bike to the wall charger, and it charges normally. After disconnecting the charger, the bike turns on for 1 second, and then error 21 and the charging symbol appear again on the display. Do you have any advice?
Hey. Thanks for your videos. Last week i charged my bike. Next day i start the bike, I've got error 17 and the front light doesn't work. Also the engine got no power. Do you know what the problem could be?
@@martinm8037 I think Is just left without charge for Long time I'll try modify the charger and try charging it again... I made s video about the charger... Have a look .. cheers
@@Razspareparts thanks for your answer. Could you give me a link for the right video? And do you have a clou, what else could be the problem? I already disconect/conect the frontlight and the battery. But nothing changed. Would be very happy, if you can help me, so i can keep my bike alive.
Hey, I looking almost every video of you and I am a DIY. I have a vanmoof S3 battery what give error 17 now I have tried to reset the BMI by connect GND and RST but did not work for me. Now on the BMS at the end there is a fuse is it possible that this fuze is broken? Because if I test it with my multimeter from the left side of the fuse to the right side there is no signal but from top to bottom of the fuze it have a signal. Or do you have another idea what is wrong. All the cells are around 3.50 volt each serie
From left to right should be full continuity to be a working fuse .... Now you need to figure out why the fuse blown depending on the state of charge you can figure it out ....
@@Razsparepartsthank you for your fast reply. Good to know that I am on the right path. Not sure why the fuze got blowed out but I am not sure if I can figure it out because I have bought the bike like this for a very good price:) €150 euro. Now I think the fuze got blow because the owner plugged it in for a couple of months and after riding his bike try to charge but it did not charge any more. Now I need to search for that same fuze to replace. Do you maybe know what kind of fuze it is? Like to hear from you!
@@Razsparepartsthanks, I have replaced the fuze and also changed the charger so the output is on the lowest. Everything is working now. I have fixed now over 4 batteries but looks like it is time to invest in a laboratory power supply because I use now a IMAX B6 but it take me a lot of time to charge the battery
Hi, Why is in all the forums everybody saying the SKF-40 fuse has to be replaced especially wuth error 6. And what does this fuse do and why can it trip? How can it be properly tested? Can you explain? Then can you make a video on how to replace the cables inside the bike. I have another S3 with a motor related error 45. The motor is fine, since it works in another bike and the cable is broken inside the bike.
You need bench power supply and Ballance charger to recover the battery... But if is 0 volts no change.. They getting permanently damaged ,you need a replacement!
Hey I have done it and now the bike doesn’t get battery. I’ve tested it twice. No connection to battery now. How can I solve it ? Before repair there was error 6. can u help me pls ?
Thanks for the informative video. I would say this only works about 15% of the time. I have tried this on numerous s3 batteries with errors 6 / 17 / 21 etc. Even desoldering the VP cable from the battery to initiate a BMS hard restart doesn't always help. This is despite checking / replacing the SKF-4055A BMS fuse. Despite all I have a few batteries stuck with error 6, with balanced cell voltage of 4.1v. Has this solved your issues?
Heyyy... I have also this prob... 17, 20... I replaced the little fuse and made this reset like in the video. Have you a solution for these faults? I also had to charge the small Cartridge battery Yesterday... But this is now working again... Best greetings ☀️ Sven
Sometimes it's just a blown fuse in the battery pack print, which can be repaired. It will cost though. luckily i have zero problems until now s3 2021.
For the last 6 months my X3's motor and gears will turn off if I turn too far to the right, for most of that time if I turn all the way to the left, the motor and gears will turn back on again. But now it doesn't work and I have error 6 and 17. I assume mine has something to do with a cable if anyone knows? Thank you:)
I have a S3 with sometimes error 19 then it is not reading battery level properly. To make the error go away I just have to put my handle bar to the full right and then the error is gone. My friend had the same issue also turning the bar to the full right solved it. I think a problem with the cable tree and easy to try :)

Just gave it a try and "no luck". Still showing error 17. Any thoughts on next steps? Thank you.
Thank you for this, do you know if this also resolves Error 3 ?
Error 3 is battery related but Is short circuit I think Is something brown inside ... But you can try

Great! I have Err 20.
After the reset I have error 6,17,20 on my bike

Had Err 19 and 21. After the hard reset Err 21 and the symbol of an empty battery is displayed. Before the reset, the battery was at approx. 80%.

But will refresh the status of charge showing you why you had those errors in the first place....

It might be cable inside the fork crushed and is only the signal for the speed
@@Razspareparts I will open it up soon and check. They did tell me they put too many cables through the X3 head tube when I had previous issues.

You mean this. Are you talking about the SKF-40 fuse? Where is it located? Is it difficult to change?
