- The flooding alert alarm has been sounded at Portland Dorset after waves started to wash over the sea defences there at Chesil Cove.
Floods and storms have been lashing Chesil Beach at Portland Dorset UK for the last few weeks this is how one storm took fishing boats from the sea defence wall as the flood alarms were also sounded.
Wow! That's crazy, I'm on holiday there now.
An electronic siren of sorts? Sounds like a whelen or ATI variation. I've seen photos, they look ATIish lol great cathch! 🔊
These are e2s A141s as far as I know, used to be a castle castings and a klaxon GP12 but they were replaced after 'not being loud enough'
@@battytec I hate how they replace great, iconic sirens with these modern variety 🙄 in my personal opinion, the best electric sirens ever are the Hörmann ECNs 🔊
@@thunderchild2756 yeah, I've always liked the hormanns, but I think my favorites are some of the early more experimental american ones like the ACA Alertronics and Federal Signal Eows models, but obviously they weren't too reliable 😂. As far as modern electronic sirens go though you can't beat a hormann 👍
My Uncle Jack lives there and told me all locations I can tell you them
@@hmsirensandfirealarms awesome thanks! 🔊👌🏻
