Great video! Very accurate information and upbeat presentation. I moved to Millington 7 years ago to get away from the noise and "drama" of city life in Memphis, and have not regretted it for one second. Right away, it felt like home, and that feeling has only increased since then. I recently bought a house here with my fiancée. So if you want to start a family, it's an affordable place to rent while you save up for your future. I always recommend Millington to all my friends who want a more quiet life away from the city, but still want to be close enough to go to concerts, sports events, and things like that. It's all just 20-30 minutes away, if you are into that stuff, so perfect distance to enjoy it when you want and then leave it when you don't! Best of both worlds, IMO. Places of interest, if you are new here or considering moving to Millington: - Abandoned Antiques (BIG place full of all kinds of fun stuff) - Orgill Park (golf, disc golf, fishing, BBQ/picnics, pet friendly... ducks 🦆, lol) - Los Pilares (best Mexican restaurant in the area) - Millington Public Library (looks small on the outside but surprisingly broad selection of books, movies, and music!) There's more but exploring it for yourself is half the fun 🙂 Also check out our annual Navy St. parades and the bi-annual Blue Angels airshow at the Memphis-Millington Airport! Kind of a long comment but kudos if you read the whole thing, lol! I hope it's helpful/informative to anyone interested.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Yes I absolutely agree. It's a great town! I am going to be doing a video on hidden gems in Millington. We have found some really cool spots. Thank you for the suggestions. And yes, the air show with the Blue Angels is absolutely amazing!!
