surprisingly, the Robin has the minimum equipment required in the US for IFR. On top of the ADI, Turn coordinator, and gyro compass, all that is needed to meet the minimum requirement is a VOR
My MSFS 2024 career experience: * the Robin DR400 did not show airspeed (had to guess it and hope I got it right); * was asked to taxi over a field with holes in it, which made me go overhead, crash and significantly reduced my aviator rating... TWICE! * put me in the Cessna to fly over the Alps at 10000 ft , which lead straight to a mountain and when I climbed I got penalized because I did not listen to ATC (and they called it a 'VIP'-mission, ha ha) * got me into a 2 hour mission, only to throw an 'Unexpected error' popup 1,5 hours in that sent me back to HQ with 0 credits earned * puts you straight into the 2-engine rating exam - no lessons, no prep - in a DA62 on downwind with 1 engine out and a crosswind of 15 kts: good luck! * about that exam: I forgot to extend my gear (flew that darn fixed-gear Cessna too many times!), did a (successful) belly landing and IT PASSED ME WITH A B-RATING! Couldn't stop laughing for a while. :D This thing needs work...

Very interesting! I certainly wouldn’t want to fly IMC with the equipment, I’d at least want DME paired with the OBS as a minimum!

This thing needs work...
I grew up in Hunmanby! Crazy seeing it in the sim
That’s actually a skydiving airstrip. Skydive GB is the company based from there.
Awesome! Small world!
