  • 2015 Durango. The vehicle says “Service Keyless System” on startup. I had a friend with a good scanner and the code was B1A7513, which is Passive Entry Antenna 5-circuit open. I did some more digging and found out antenna 5 is in the rear cargo area right under the rear trim panel. I took out the rear cargo plastic tray and there was the antenna wiring harness-lying there, not plugged in. I plugged it back in and the system works like a charm.

was this causing a key fob not detected message on the screen? mine won't even start and i'm thinking it could be this

No but I saw a video that if you hold the key fob on the ignition button as you push it, it may start. I think I remember that could just be a dead battery in your key fob. Good luck!

Where is the plug at. Can’t tell from video

Pull up the rear plastic trim piece that has the metal latch for the hatch sticking up through it. There are just a few clips holding it on. Below that, at the very back, under the plastic piece that is still attached, you will see the small wiring harness. Make sure yours is plugged in. I saw another video that said they sometimes work themselves loose.
