Picked up this peach tree from you guys this weekend! Looking forward to some delicious peaches in a couple years.

Definitely one of the better peaches for this area...especially in not so stellar fruit growing years like this year (22'). Hope you get some fruit next year off your tree to try. Thanks!

I get late spring frost and temp swings in general from end of February to end of April. Have a Contender that is growing well but hasn't set fruit after 4 years last two years because of the temp swings in late winter (some days in the 80s in February and March and then 10-20° a week after a warm up). Been looking to see if there is a peach that can handle that better.
Even my apricot trees handle it better and still have at least half their normal blooms.🤷‍♀️
    I'm in zone 5a.

wow! thats outside my wheelhouse. We are in zone 8B with relatively consistent temps. What is unique about Frost is its late flowering. its one of the last peaches to leaf out so that may help in your situation.

Good deal! Personally excited about the new white peach we have- Indian Free. It's suppose to have real good resistance to leaf curl and has less acid than yellow peaches making it taste sweeter! Hoping to plant out all the different varieties this year in Enumclaw :)
Hope to see you next week.

'Frost' and 'Riga' are amongst the only peaches possible in my climate. Got two trees planted last year. Seems to have survived this winter, crossing fingers 🤞

Never heard of Riga, looks to be a variety not available in the US. Best of luck...nothing like fresh peaches right off the tree!
