- In this talk with a period of meditation, Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Sevananda shares wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on how to manifest spiritual friendship in our daily lives.
Unselfish friendship is a path to our own happiness. When we step outside of ourselves and think lovingly of others, we have as Yogananda says, “momentarily stepped into Christ Consciousness” - the infinite awareness of the Divine permeating all creation.
Brother Sevananda explains that true friendship can be the basis of all relationships - and is what beautifies, enlivens, and gives the deepest meaning to them.
This talk was recorded at the SRF temple in Glendale, California, on March 19, 2023.

Hello Brother. You always hit it out of the park for me! We met at the DC center last year and had a wonderful time seeing you since the pandemic. I admire you and all the monastics so much. A true live saving talk. They are always on time. This world is NUTS and sometimes I don't feel like I can manage and then SRF helps bring be back from the edge.
