FYI, Profolol is for enhanced sedation for those patients who cannot tolerate the procedure. Fentanyl and midazolam are for conscious sedation, meaning you are awake and to keep you relaxed during the procedure and help to alleviate the pain.

When they mention sedation, make sure they are talking about propofol, not just fentanyl and midazolam.
