Here is a short explanation . The full version of Groove Agent can sequentially & chromatically record & assign audio to it's pads. You simply insert a midi controlled noise gate on the input so it replaces the recording threshold of Groove Agent. . Now Imagine you want to record a performance in the sampler instead of the daw You press the trigger which activates the gate & generates a single sustained midi note The sample records the audio as long as the trigger is open.
