We aren't sure why the time stamps aren't showing up on the play bar lately, even though we've set it up to RUclips's requirements. Sometimes they just work on their own a day or two later without explanation. This has happened to several videos we've posted. It is certainly frustrating, to say the least. Regardless, I always put time stamps and links in the description. --Thomas
I worked construction for years and carried a utility blade exclusively (before my pocket knife addiction) and they can handle 99.9% of edc and work tasks.
I did a few mods to my qsp penguin mini, like countersinking the pocket clip screws and polishing the linear deep satin finish so the detent ball glides across it instead of undulating across it. So, definitely not perfect, however the machining on the blade, the crowned spine, and the overall fit and finish are excellent. Most impressively though is how sharp it came. Maybe I won the sharpening lottery, but I have never had a knife that sharp out of the box, nor have i been able to make a knife quite as sharp. Overall for something I bought as a cheap travel knife, I've been very impressed.
When I first saw it, I didn't like it. I thought it was SOG trying to pass off overpriced junk on us again. But the more I saw of it, the better I liked it. Good steel, liked the sheath, at $130 it's a bit of a deal.
love the karbon knife absolutely beautiful. but i would never buy one, because when you open the knife, the beauty becomes a absolute horror, with that massive billboard on it. the person who thought, yah that is awesome, should go for a mental check up. talk about making something that beautiful, and then destroying it at the same time.
When is the QSP Walrus going to hit the shelves?? Also, DCA I'd love to get your thoughts on curved blades. CRKT Jernigan, CJRB Gobi, CRKT Ruger Hollow Point, Steel Will Censor, all fantastic blades (I have a type!) Do you have any favorites or recommendations to expand my collection?
Great. QSPs for 80 bucks!? Next we will have premium Sencuts! I'm like my brother, Thomas. I appreciate affordable rides and affordable, decent steel. Speaking of, Thomas is the only other person that will get a kick out of this: I found a low mileage '85 Isuzu Impulse I am trying to buy to go along with my 86 Trooper.
@@twatmunroI meant don't make the QSP in S35VN. Smart guy. Make those in more affordable steel and save the premium stuff for premium knives. I'm not a steel snob and would rather be able to get a quality knife with decent but affordable steel.
I'm wondering if anyone else is having trouble with their Korvid M. Just got mine and the detent is stupid strong. I can use the flipper, somewhat reverse flick with the fuller, but the thumb stud is useless. Can't generate enough force to overcome that detent.
I’ve had 2 Vosteed button locks, a Raccoon and a Corgi, and they both bounced so bad that I returned them. Nice looking knives, but their action isn’t ready for prime time, IMO.
Really appreciate you showing us all the new knives and letting us know what we need to know. I love you, man, but I have a critricism. As a prominent and popular guy in the knife community please, Kansept should sound like concept. Not like the "a" in can of beer. It should be prounced like the "o" in cop. I'm going to guess you say tanto like tan the color and toe the bodypart. "Ta" should be pronounced like top, without the "p" of course. Hope that's understandable. Thanks, bro.
After hearing the price of the corvid and the QSPs I really wonder why so many companies charge ridiculous prices for their knives when s35vn can go for that cheap
Labor/material costs and increased profit margins. If QSP were a US company and the button lock Penguin was made in the USA, the price could easily be $150+
The bottle opener is supposed to be used when the knife is closed. But I guess I understand why you get the warning. People are kind of stupid sometimes.
Miss the timestamps ;)

Thanks, Thomas. We know you aren't doing it out of laziness. You guys rock!
'it is certainly frutrating, to say the least' this is certainly Thomas speaking.
(Congrats and keep up the good work by the way)
Thank you Thomas👍🏻
They work now.
Watched half the video and came back to it a few hours later then BAM timestamps 🤷♂️
RUclipss be like that I guess
New knives time *YES*
The best time of the week.
One day I'll have a Peña...love all he does
The penguin just slid in today
I worked construction for years and carried a utility blade exclusively (before my pocket knife addiction) and they can handle 99.9% of edc and work tasks.
Custom knife factory knife is nice. Thanks for showing that one
Agreed, damn fine knife.
Thank You for another great Presentation. We really appreciate these videos! So informative.
The Peña Sicario is a beautiful production knife.
Thank you Thomas on the Rafe, I was rolling my eyes at him. Trapezoid not hexagonal, DCA, I understand you gotta keep talking! You guys rock!!
Well done Thomas.! "The more you know...the less you carry" Mors Kochanski.
The Thunderbird is the only bang for the buck that I see.

I cannot believe suckers spend their money on that Bigi Design nonsense...$175 for a damn box cutter...ridiculous
That case sasquatch bowie is beautiful.
If that case ever goes on sale, I'll be buying one!
Man QSP is killing it.
I feel like the puffin puns were auk-ward…
Wonder who the OEM is for the Karbon Knives Flatline. Thanks KnifeCenter
Hey DCA sup Thomas what is the propose of the clever blade style just not what I look for but I may be missing something thanks for the info 🧂🇺🇸
Hey DCA ,
What is the best angle to sharpen a Scandi grind, such as a Mora. Thanks Ben.
The Karbon introduces a new genre....executive machete!
Spyderco's grip is clever !
Dave, I just purchased the Sukhoi. Would you mind bringing it to my place in person?😂 I only 40 minutes from Knife Center
Damn that Case is stunning, if it proves to be tough.
Cutlery rivets is a weak spot and squared off handle will give hot spots. I love Case, but this is disappointing
This SOG Ether FX looks amazing… if only they had a 4 inches version!
Natural skinner.
When I first saw it, I didn't like it. I thought it was SOG trying to pass off overpriced junk on us again. But the more I saw of it, the better I liked it. Good steel, liked the sheath, at $130 it's a bit of a deal.
Ken Onion and that Hydra are definitely my faves! But uh.. you forgot to add the price for the Hydra.
does that Puffin have a reversible pocket clip? It kinda looks like the carbon side is pocketed out.
That Korvid M+ looks so impractical, it literally takes up an entire pocket.
The cjrb hectare? Surprised I didn't see it. Didn't it just come out? I never noticed it on the website before.
I like the finch… and that puffin actually.. looks like a small sebenza size.. my wheelhouse like bugout and mini bugout
Alright I really wanted a Swordfish but I don't like the handle/fish combos, so you might have me with that Penguin. The better steel is cool too
Why is the we/civivi Typhoeus considered a fixed blade when it folds and the blade isn't fixed ?
love the karbon knife absolutely beautiful.

Oh no! man! Now I have to buy another Penguin.
175bucks for that utility knife......jesus might aswell get a fastback be better off
I wish the time stamps with links to the knives were in the description
this is the best new knife selection ive seen for a bit, and with DCA's presentation gracing the screen as well. great stuff!

Anyone got any info on the mini Thunderbird drop? 👀
Bird, bird, bird…sicario (cartel assassin) lololol
I want a hydra so badly, but alas I’m a lefty. Are there any single action OTF’s that are lefty friendly?

Try and get another knife in S35VN for 80 dollars.

" Bird, bird bird " ? ...............BIRD IS THE WORD !
Everybody knows that the bird is the word.
karbon beauiful knife
Very impressive stuff David I think that's the best line up I have ever seen at Knife Center, Evey thing out there got my attention. Wow!
That carbon flatline looks nice.
but the "K A R B O N" billboard on the blade is a sin
Loving the native chief. Not sure if I want the LW or G10 version tho
you can also wait till the salt versions come out in lc200n and magnacut 🤷♂️
@@acid6urns i definitely want one of them. Just have to study the specs on each to make a decision.

I can't believe they made a new version of the Thunderbird, but they never called it the Thunderbird 2? Come on!
That custom knife factory gotta weigh 7oz? Fancy pocket anchor

Keep in mind if you purchase a PENA and you have a problem, do not expect any reponse. Pena is the worst at after care.
This weeks line up is way better than last time....that Pena is pretty cool, the Karbon is super cool too
i need a button lock or crossbar lock knife with a blade between 2.5in-2.9in one day so i can strike fear in boxes' hearts
Boom 💥
Zirconium Backspacer? that's just adding too much sugar on the donut.
3:49 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If I'm buying s35vn at $85 I'm getting a LAND 812.
The more you knife......hilarious
Hexagonal? That's a trapezoid.
It's a "half-hexagon"😬
Use the cap lifter with the folder closed. 🙄
Crkt redemption. ????????? WHEN
Still waiting on my hogue trauma to ship?

@@humidozer thank youuuuu! I'm sure you're great as well!
meh that clip on the custom looks like trash and the scales aint much better
Hate to dwell, but sicario is a pretty dang tone deaf name for anything other than an actual sicario or a rock band.
Sukhoi 4 cool That they can use all those materials but it's an ugly knife
Sad to see you promoting Russian knives. 😢
Does BladeHQ support the russian war?😢 Those fighter jets are launching rockets to Ukrainian cities 🤬 5:46
Shut up..... Not every damn thing in everyone's world revolves around politics..... Go back to CNN or wherever
