I was wondering if the timeline you shared is the same for petitioners with green card like me.. or baka mas mabilis sa inyo because US citizen ang husband mo. Do you have any idea about this? Hello po. I am not sure about the timeline this time because we filed our case after pandemic where there were so much backlogs that is why took longer than we expected. I have talked to a person during my interview that her sponsor is a greencard holder, it took them longer than ours because of financial statements of the greencardholder sponsor. Pero in her case kasi anak siya at ang mama niya ang greencard holder. I don’t know how it is with spousal visa for a greencard holder. Pero what I have learned is that as long as you have enough in your financial and you are paying tax, I think it will be fine. Just my thoughts.

Matagal po talaga kapag IR1 visa. Pero worth the wait naman po kasi directly residency na kasi. Makakatanggap ka ng greencard 2 to 6 weeks when you arrive US.

Hello po, ask ko lang po if possible po sa isang Filipina na asawa ng US citizen na mag file ng US tourist visa? Kasi sa mga videos, lahat ng asawa ng US citizen ay kumukuha ng spouse visa. Pwd po ba ang Tourist visa instead spouse visa? Salamat po sa sagot, God bless!.
They will advise you po to get a spouse visa (CR1 or IR1) visa. Di po ako sure pero pwede po ata yung tourist (B-2) visa. Please do more research sa website ng US immigration about it po. 😊

Hi..Your DQ date was July 2023 so that means you submitted your husband’s Federal Income tax for the year 2022. Since your interview was May 2024, did they ask for his Federal Income tax for the year 2023? Or any additional proof of income?Thanks for answering. Hello po. We uploaded po the Income tax of my hubby from 2021-2022 tas nag upload kami ulit ng 2023 as the updated one. Tas yung mga updated paycheck niya. We are blessed that God protect us from hurricane.

@@yanic.1018yes po, we uploaded everything po. Kaya po siguro wala akong yellow packet just a visa on may passport and all doculments are digitally sent to American immigration.
@ Hello Bella. I got an email from NVC on november 1st that my case is already in Manila and that the embassy will contact me for the interview schedule. How long did you wait to receive the letter from the embassy after your case was already in Manila? And did it come regular mail or email as well? Will appreciate your response. Thank you.
