Best in class,cause its practical, cheapest to buy and still a head turner. Does not heat up in traffic and does not stall like some renowned super hyped motorcycles.

it has long front mudguard, i love it, it will protect from mud during rainy ride. Yamaha has properly designed this bike.
Honestly.. Fz25 doesn't make any sense anymore..
Too many flaws for the price..
1. Bad Instrument Panel
2. Lack of 6th gear
3. Too high price
4. Comparitively less power
5. Better options in market for similar price like Gixxer 250/ dominar 250.
They should have priced it similar to the bs4 model.

I have the fz25 bs6, the best mileage is till 80kmph , and rides perfectly till there ,we can go upto 90kmph too, but above 100 the mileage significantly drops.

Always Yamaha due to its refinement light weight excellent braking

Now it's around 18000 cheaper, would it be good to go for it ? I need an easy to drive bike for occasional long rides. I am confused between TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and FZ25. Please advice.

It's a great bike. On paper specs may be the lowest in its segment but practically it's quite good. I'm getting a mileage of 41 kmpl before 1st service which is good enough for me.

If you want a comfortable commuter even for your pillion then FZ 25 is better.

Front head portion ka design backdated lagta hai, sirf Led and projector lamp use karne se kuch nahi hota. Yamaha should change the all-over looks of front head.

Would like you to share my experience of Yamaha FZ 25 purchased 3 year's ago.
Purchased 3 vehicle's on a single day keeping in mind Yamaha's good will name
Disappointed with the quality, service, after sales service and including availability of spares.
Sold one after first year, second after second year and will sell my third vehicle soon.
It's really disgusting experience having purchased Yamaha and never recommend anyone else to buy it.
Parts are substandard with rusting issues, movement, servicing and God knows.
Service station people are very rude and upfront curse Yamaha's product quantity.
My one spare part has not been delivered since last Two year's till today with false stories about everything from the company's end.
Bike vibrates so badly after crossing 60 Speed, brake pads need so frequently changing, gears are all misset and jump in between changing automatically and chances of accidents are High.
Please pass on my experience to the manufacturing company even though I know it will not effect them nor will I get any revert back to understand my situation.
It's okay because I can afford it but please as a professional don't ever recommend this company's product to anyone else because it's more of junk rather than a good machine Sir.
Rest you are answerable to your consious as you will say that it's one experience in thousands, but remember all three cannot be wrong which I purchased.

I have this bike and It has been 3 years, except minor rusting issue on the exhaust pipe, I haven't faced any issues till date,
You can write anything to defame the Yamaha brand but always remember one thing this is not a newly launched brand in India, and people know what the Yamaha is, I have fz25 and fzs v1 (150cc)2014 model, I can bet the refinement level that my old fzs bike has is unmatchable if I talk about any new launched bikes of bajaj, tvs, hero.
And this is quite funny

Yamaha, honda, suzuki, kawasaki these are the brands you should avoid to purchase because you deserve khatara bajaj.

Regarding your view's I care a damn because I expressed my experience which is already on records okay.
Besides why would a new bike catch rust and that too after giving extended warranty from the company.
There are lots of issues with rusting, vibration, clutch plate, and gear slipping which the service station people acknowledge so why do you have to put your bloody foot in my experience.
You are just a kid and I have experience of riding a Honda 929 more than 25 years ago so please keep your mouth shut.
You are lucky so I Envy you and wish you good luck but I am just sharing my experience so please be courteous enough to read it well and also this is not for you because I shared so that the presentors can share the feedback to the company and future purchaser's at least don't face such problems kid.

Secondly I have been riding bikes for many years but it is true haven't ridden any bike over 400cc (not included Royal Enfield) but that really doesn't mean one cannot be experienced enough to share the facts, and the fact is any Japanese two wheeler brand is way better than the Indian brand, maybe your experience was bad but the brand is superior with minor problems if you compare it with the other Indian brands,

Do a review of these bikes (250cc) comparing with Cb350 and meteor because these bikes also give power and torque figure same as Honda and Royal Enfield bikes, and compare why someone go for Yamaha or Suzuki and why someone go for Royal Enfield and Honda. (except for comfort).
why get a fzs25 when you can invest 15k more and get a gixxer250?

FZ25 is more comfortable for both rider n pillion than the Gixxer250.. But if you can ignore the comfort part n want a sportier machine then Gixxer250 is a better buy..

My question is: Now that you reviewed FZS 25 BS6 which one you believe is a better motorcycle for touring with a pillion and why?
I know the seat comfort on FZS is better than naked Gixxer 250. So, apart from the seat comfort what else makes FZS or Gixxer a better touring machine.
FYI: I'm not a speed junkie. I'm good at 90 kmph. :)

It's a disappointment Centre Stand or the main stand has been removed from Bs6 Variant. Ppl who tour on it with luggage know how important it is.

Hello... I need your suggestion. Previously i have used Yamaha FZ-X Almost 10 months and driven 7000 Kms on it. Right now am using Xpulse 4V past 6 months and driven 4500 Kms. Now am feeling bored to use it and wanted to change the bike, hope you will help me. My requirements are Daily 30 Kms City rides, Comfortable up-right seating position, Mandatory Pillion comfort for my wife and mother with ladies footrest (if not from the company, at least after market installation), Good suspension set-up, Little performance in order to overtake vehicle in city, Easy clutch, Stability around 90-100 KMPH (i will never ride above 100 KMPH), Am not worried about 2V or 4V engine, Basic odo-meter details such speed, gear, trip & time (Never used Bluetooth & advance features in FZX/Xpulse), Mileage should be around 45 KMPL. My Xpulse has following pro's & con's- Very good suspension, good rider comfort but pillion comfort is not that great, Respectable mileage am getting is 40 KMPL, Odo-meter is good, Headlamp light quality is poor and Engine refinement is not that great like yamaha or honda, clutch is little firm, can not cross hump on 3rd gear if i tried then engine will give jerks or shut-off. I have 3 bikes in my mind, please help me out considering my requirement. Yamaha FZS 25 (250CC), Honda Hornet 2.0 & Recently launched Pulser N160.
Go for TVS Ronin. It will suit your requirements perfectly.

Can you do a comparison review between Gixxer250sf Fz25 Dominor250 & CBR250R about the touring capabilities??
CBR250 is dead.. SF250 is good for sports touring with less comfort.. Dominar250 is the best 250cc touring machine.. FZ25 is a good allrounder but meant primarily for punchy city ride..

Well the Yamaha FZ-S 25 is great option in the 250cc segment . It looks good, it has decent performance, engine is very refined and its great bike for city ride and touring week end Ride as well. It is also a very fuel efficient bike to and it has a 14 litter fuel tank that help full for long ride's . The only problems are the instrument cluster that looks small and its less informative. Then the engine could have been updated for more power, and for a 250cc bike it Misses on 6th gear and a slipper clutch. Aside these issues the new Yamaha FZ-S 25 BS6 is an enjoyable and fun to Ride bike.
Gixxer 250 is the best option bro .. it's fuel efficient, we get Suzuki's refinement level, quality & many more upgraded features... so I think better to go for it

Fz25 engine is Air cooled and Oil cooled as well .. You can clearly see the OIL COOLER pipes on it's engine ..

Just saw a comment that Yamaha FZ doesn't make sense? And some body looking for dominor!! coolent engineering of bajaj is totally nonsense and dangerous. If unfortunately coolent packing get tear-up coolent get introduced into engine then God save bajaj bike!! Think and ask same question to any mechanic!! Yamaha is about engineering pure engineering!!!

Power to weight ration is terrific of this bike . Clocking 0-100 in 8.5 sec
100-110 crusing without vibrations .
All other drawbacks seat cushioning and instrument cluster are manageable . ❤️

I have BS4 FZ25 just 1600 Kms old in 6 months (done 2 services only) and i am totally disappointed about it. Feel vibrations even at around 60 kmph speed, it takes lot of time to pass 85, have never reached 100 yet due to discomfort of engine noise and vibrations. Yes, torque and suspension is good. Pick up is also good but lacks that confort of new bike. Is there something wrong with my bike or it is like that. I feel vibs at pegs, handle bar , mirrors are also shaking (but tight). Fuel economy is 36+ indicted. Overall not happy and may like to sell it . It is Pune registered. there is nothing wrong except I am not happy. My height is short (5-3) as such not getting good posture also.
Yamaha need to listen to the younger crowd this bike need big update i can live with the design but that info console has got to go,put 6th gear increase power all led maybe an aluminium swing arm
