Great video! This is a good way to do a review with both pros and cons! This looks like very clear footage from both sites, thanks for sharing

Good morning Randy, thanks! Browning gets my vote as well although I think I am still waiting for the next 4K trail camera from them lol! 1080p @60fps is nice on this camera for my video preferences. Have a good day, Char😊

I really think that Browning is falling downwards since the discontinued the recon force advantage... the new models have not helpd up well for me and some others due to the microphone that can leak iinto the camera and ruin it.
I have looked at the model you reviewd here, and it seems plagued with bugs that have become standard recently for Browning cameras. The one photo then video bug is just plain out and out lack of quality control at Browning. Fingers crossed they will get this fixed before all my older good Brownings expire.

@@OchoVerde I am hopeful there is an update for this model but at the rate they are pumping out various Dark Ops series models I am doubtful. After this video I have noted a few more issues like the first few frames of video jump quickly and this must have something to do with that photo being taken before a video. These are not cheap. They have offered to look at my camera already but I declined bc I don’t want to make matters worse if they are tearing it down. I can tell it won’t last as long as my others and does miss triggers pretty often as well. You don’t get to know all this stuff until you work with it past the return window date of course.

    Good morning.
A friend sent me two video samples from Nano.
For the price, I don't think it's worth it. The Spec Ops Elite HP5 has a much better image, day or night, noting that at night the HP5 is far superior to the Nano.
This 4K video I found to be a marketing ploy, as it only has 20 Mb/s, which for 4K is very little. To give you an idea, the HP5 in 1080p has 24 Mb/s.
The audio is also much clearer on the HP5, you just need to increase the volume by around 10 to 20 db when editing videos on the HP5 for the audio to be good.
I repeat, this camera is not bad, but the price should be around $120 to $130 to make it worthwhile and not cost the same as an Elite HP5.
For places where I know people won't pass by, I prefer the Recon Force Elite HP5, because the red led at night leaves the videos with an impressive quality in 1080p/60fps.
Congratulations on the review, leaving that like.

Hi there. Thanks very much. I appreciate you sharing these excellent points.
My favorite camera is the Spec Ops Elite HP5 btw! I reviewed that camera and the Recon models when they first came out. The Recon takes some stellar nighttime video! And the audio is great, increasing it by a bit especially in daytime clips for those cameras works great.
I did not see any reviews really sharing a lot of points worth discussion regarding this 4K camera. Pretty much clip sharing or how great the camera is. Every camera has its own strengths and weaknesses as we know some of the Elite models leaked in the rain(mine did not) and the some of the daytime greens and blues on the Recon model tend to be oversaturated and are not what I prefer which is why I like the Spec Ops even if it isn’t as bright at night.
That being said, some people do like the daytime hues of the Recon Elite model.
Anyways, I wanted to share what I’ve discovered through using this camera so hoping to save others time. I can see that this camera won’t be for everyone though, that’s for sure! I do agree that the Elite models are definitely better, not in just the pics/video but also in audio(still without the boost).
Also, the 4K is definitely a marketing ploy not just by this company but many others. I watched a review recently for a trail camera that went up to 1080p video quality. He claimed the trail cam’s video was excellent for 1080p but not 4K quality. Say what?! It was disappointing to think that some people would only look at a camera if it had 4K bc they believe that is the best available. If you’ve been working with a lot of cameras you know that MANY times the 1080p quality will be better than the 4K setting. I keep one particular camera I own on 4K all the time bc it doesn’t give me grief with file size and looks okay but it isn’t true 4K. No one has really figured it out yet. The rest of my cameras are usually on 1080p. I hope some others will comment on this issue as well.
      Take care,
      Char 😊🦌👍
