3 whole eggs and 2 slices of bread with peanut butter. Eat that 4-5 times a day. That was my routine during my cash strapped college days. Its cheap and effective for bulk.
That is exactely what I was trying to figureed out for myself and decided to start eating only proteins after my straight straining to see how it is, as I am just starting to build muscles and decrease a bit of fat, and will start with proteins as well. But first will need to find a good vegan protein brand, as you suggested. Thank you abou that as well as I don't know anything about those protein shakes. You are the only person who answered so many of the questions I have had for quite a while and no one else on you tube is clear about that and was waist of time. So appreciate your videos. In the near futur will definitely subscribe for your app and have plans to do the tomb rider training for sure. Thanks
I typically eat dinner between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. I work out later in the evening/night between 7 pm and 8 pm. I go to bed an hour or two after. Should I eat again after I workout and if so, what should I eat? Given that I'm still pretty full after dinner, I can't force myself to eat another meal. I usually wait until the next morning and have a protein shake. Is this just as effective in making sure my body is getting what it needs to recover?
Thanks for the insights Magnus! Your video popped up at the right time. Currently planning out my food- and exercise schedule for this month and I always seem to have a hard time with the meal after my workout, so this is perfect. Big fan of your channel!
Also worth mentioning pretty sure the 30-50 gram Is questioned in research too :) appreciate your self awareness Magnus (old school bodybuilding ideas part)
What do you recommend if your muscles are struggling to recover and cramping even when doing easy exercises? I’ve been using magnesium to supplement, but I think maybe potassium is low.
What about if you are like me and practice intermittent fasting so after 10 pm I don't eat anything until the next day after midday I will start to consume food..The problem I have is that I go to gym after midnight after finishing work ( I'm a night shift worker ) and dont get to bed till 5am..I dont consume food after training.I will have a coffee when I get home and thats about it..I sleep for about five hours and when I wake up around 10am I will have a coffee first and then food after midday..I cant stomach a lot of food during that eating window of midday to 10 pm so I know I'm not getting a lot of the right amount of proteins, carbs and fats. How do I get my daily dose of protein in? Am I doing the right way with regard to intermittent fasting or should I be eating after I train??
I know the prevailing theory is to ingest .8-1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. If you are trying to lose weight should you consume protein based on your current weight or your goal weight?
Interesting... I eat 1 meal a day with 200 grams of protein included (because lack of time to eat meals). The scale goes up, and I don't put on fat, just pure muscle. Looking bigger and sharper every week. If the body only can consume 30-50 grams per meal, how is my routine possible to build muscle? Am I missing something here?
Magnus thank you for the information, when referring to protein consumption, considering the fact that the goal is to lose weight, what body weight should you follow when calculating 2kg per total
I heard you say taking meals with you? I thought there should be at least 30min - 1hr between training and eating, and not right after? or does that depend on the person as well
If we have a cheat meal , let’s say a couple slices of pizza at dinner, and it’s the 4th meal of the day, should we still eat the evening snack 3 h later or skip it?
I would not skip next meal. If I’ve had an exceptional amount of carbs and fat throughout the day I might eat less carbs at night( but not because of 2slices of pizza)
Hey I am anew follower I really like your videos but I am a girl started a gym last month and but it is so hard to get that amount of protein in a budget what should I do? 😊

I'm not a vegetarian but considering where I live and how I live I could pass as one. Anyways, I eat rice with veggies usually an hour before working out. Sometimes I drink milk with it, you could probably drink soymilk instead. Unfortunately I do sometimes eat fish or chicken, so I don't know what to substitute for that. Hope it helps a little. Good luck on your journey!!
hey magnus, thank you very much for this short video, it is really very helpful! I have a question though. Is it possible gain muscle or get lean without protein powder? I have nothing against it but I would like to avoid it in my daily meals. Is there other alternatives (like Spirulina-Powder) to the "Whey Powder" or is really a must? thank you again for your videos, they are really helpful and full of info!
my workout (6x week) consists of 30 mins running and 30 minutes strength, so I figure I have to eat carbs, protein and fat for optimal recovery and muscle growth.
I would love to see a pantry essentials video. Or eating high protein on a budget.
Yes yes please a protein focused video!
Yes please! Great ideas.

This video was very informative. I definitely have to consume more protein. Workout hard but don't see results.
Great advice, it is like I have my own personal trainer and nutritionist! I finally got my diet under control, I think?
Appreciate it magnus 🥊
What can use before work out
Great video - "do what works for you" but his advice is excellent and common sense
Thank you for sharing such important information!!!👍🏽

Does this mean if I am intermittent fasting, I have to train in my eating window?
The link does not work:( Thanks for another great video!

I know the prevailing theory is to ingest .8-1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. If you are trying to lose weight should you consume protein based on your current weight or your goal weight?
If we don’t work out at all, should we stick to the 5-meal plan or lessen the amount of meals?
@floyd watt It does matter, it has to do with the level of sugar in your blood.
Yes, stick to the 5 meal plan, but eat less carbs.
@@SvobodovaEva thank you

Would you recommend protein shakes for teenagers or not

Is bone broth protein powder good?
Well, yes. collagen can be good for skin, joint etc but won't build muscles. So keep drinking bone broth but add other protein sources
Hello Magnus. I would like to order Sabrina coffe so can you send me back the link discription so i can order thanks.

What is your opinion on bread. Obviously not white. Actors have always said bread is a no-no when shooting or getting ready
In general I hear bread, sugar and dairy aren't great
Yeah bread isn't great you should try rye bread
Bread is fine, your hitting your macros and not going over on carbs, it's just how well your digests it...
You can eat anything u want
