Jordaar..... Chirag Patel aka Sheriff Patel is just awesome and so down to earth. He has really made Gujarat proud and gave all gujarati's a chance to feel proud from his work. The way he said that audience will find it anyhow when you try to start making money is the truest thing have heard from any of the artist. This shows how well he connects to his audience and wants to give a true feel of his work to his fans rather than thinking of making money from his shows. And, it was a delight to hear Chirag talk in Gujarati has a good command on Gujarati language. And finally, thanks a ton Manan for making this video. If you would have not made this video then we would have missed it to know who Chirag is or Karpe is. Thanks once again for introducing people like us who didn't knew that we have a Gujarati Gem in Norway too!!

Thank you for a great intervju! I'm a big fan of Karpe. The last album makes me cry every time. I grew up with the first immigrants from India and Pakistan and in the last stretch of my life I have worked as a home improver for families that have 1'st, 2'nd and 3'rd generation "new" Norwegians. I have through them lived in the struggles Karpe bring forward in Omas Sheriff. This is of cause not a Norwegian issue but a global one, but I cry because I can put so many faces to every line in Fairuz. After a place to live, food and clothing we need to be accepted for who we are. Something we can't change. The 1'st generation are something they left behind at their birthplace, the 2'nd generation is torn between their parents culture and the culture they are born into. What is so beautiful is to see how the 3'rd generation flourish. We are all humans and filled with the promise of pure love for each others. Thanks once again! Rgds from Tromsø in northern Norway

I heard Omar Sherif song PAF in 2020 on spotify and after that as I am pahadi from Uttrakhand from India and our languages very match with gujrati and now I came here after hearing Piya Piya , I thought the gujrati singer is from Pakistan as it is released in Coke studio Pakistan but shocked to see that he is gujrati and that too from Norway and how he happily represent his culture , his parents also played a major role in his upbringings due to which he is very connected to his roots , also appreaciate Manan for this documentary as Chirag is very popular in Norway but not much people in India knew Karpe , this documentary also gain Indian fans and the best part is the award speech from him. You guys"Non-native nationals in Oslo", seems to me to be the paramount example of what selfless-blooded souls should be like. From 25:34 the empath in me kicked in through n through to 26:11. Grt music Bois @omar.sheriff, your perspective to give your listeners an immersive experience is super Dope. I believe, focusin' on visual imagery experience, showin' the audience, the world through different eyes. Abstract and loose with narrative, the poetic sub-genre of music can be very unconventional and experimental in various form and content, But I'm certain it worked for you guys for sure. The ultimate goal is to create a feeling rather than a truth. Grt first Doc @MananDesai, U got some Flawless communication skills to curate films as a documentarian.
