- What is there to think about when it comes to Black Saturday? It’s kind of like the black sheep of Holy Week days, people don’t seem to think much of it. But this was the day just before the resurrection. Even when we don’t see it, God is at work. This day mirrors our own moments when a lot of us have hit the lowest point of our lives and are in need of revival. For many of Jesus’ followers, this day was as dark as any day could get. Today we meditate on Luke 23:54-56
”It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin. The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed Joseph and saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it. Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment.”

As I go through my darkest days, it is your song 'Take me out of the dark' that gives me hope.
When I finally received from our Creator the grace of forgiveness, your song 'Natutulog ba ang Diyos' suddenly played on my RUclips feed.
God hears our most fervent wish for a miracle, Gary, and He grants it when we are at out most humble state... on a quiet early afternoon... in total silence. No drums and bugle.
This is the point when our spirit becomes purified.

I often wonder, Sir Gary, why most of the people of that time didn't believe our Lord Jesus Christ was the Messiah they had been waiting for. He had performed countless miracles and His teachings were surely unheard of then, even though aside from John the Baptist, several men had been recognized and respected as prophets during their lifetimes, so why not our Lord Jesus Christ? It was as if evil made them deaf and blind.
