The choreography is probably my favorite from Seventeen in general. But what truly stood out for me was Dino's facial expressions. I thought he was very engaging, he's so young and Seventeen hasn't been around all that long, and yet he knows exactly when to be playful, when to be sexy, etc. I was very impressed. Kpop performers focus a ton on vocal and dance skills, so their face while on stage is usually just okay or a little off.

I think Dino's skill in expression shows his dedication to building his craft as a /dancer/ and not just as a performer. Dancers are always told the importance of facial expression because it shows the emotion of the choreography and the music. You could execute a choreography smoothly and it would still not look completely right or convincing without a good expression. So I reckon the fact Dino's expression shines so much goes to show that he's not just doing this for the fame of Kpop but because he truly loves dancing
I think Dino is just very talented and hardworking just in everything, he is such a good singer, and rapper, and dancer of course, and visual. I was not even surprised he can do that as well.

My son Jun be slaying those vocals!! He be slaying those visuals, he be slaying my life lol!! I am a very happy Jun trash stan right now, even if he still got the least lines. Minghao has an amazing presence I couldn't agree more, they gotta led him take the lead more, he got like a few seconds of lines more than Jun but still not a lot. But overall they got a decent amount of lines, considering how little they used to get before. The whole video and choreography are masterpieces and Performance Team is my favorite unit, even if I normally find HipHop Team songs better, and I am completely satisfied whit this. It was amazing.
I LOVE THIS TEAM! Honestly Minghao is my favorite & IMO he slays the most dance wise. And mind you they are all fantastic but there is something about the physicality of his b Boy background that puts that extra umph in certain moves. When they are down on the ground for instance. But he also has the length, grace, and beautiful lines in the contemporary moves. I love watching him dance!
Again I think he's just slightly above them all in respect to that small advantage over the others who are such beautiful dancers too!
THIS VIDEO WAS BEAUTIFUL & so are they! And Dino is one that I think makeup actually makes him look even more grown than he has begun to look on his own! His lines in this also beautiful, that one wave near the end! Ugh Dino Jackson indeed! Also I love the hairstyles in this! And the filter on this makes all of their hair colors so saturated and beautiful!
My absolute favorite part will always be Minghao's at 1:05. I can't get over that part. With the backing vocals he sounds so angelic. When the MV came out I was mind-blown and to be honest I still am everytime I hear that part

Deni Yordanova guitar riffs are rarely seen in kpop scene nowadays!! And I love it soso much!! Also musically it reminds me of vixx Shangri-la , but with the8 vocal during chorus part, it immediately brings the svt vibe into it

also I'm watching this in class instead of doing my work but it's worth it :))
While Swimming Fool has a naturally catchy feeling (feels like an OST for some movie, when people are having fun near the beach or smth), Lilili Yabbay is SUPER up my alley musically, and I keep singing it EVERY. DAMN. TIME. On my case, Trauma is the one that is good, but not that much my taste (it just means I don't listen to it the same huge amount of times as the others, but I also love it lol).
Btw I noticed a lot of Taemin influences floating around along with MJ.

this song is prob not about catchiness but it has that QUALITY and its so nice after a few listens
I feel like In this choreography they incorporated their other choreographies, ex. Hoshi’s hip thrust (Haju Nice) and The knee push (Don’t Wanna Cry). And it just amazes me at how they can make this so smooth without many cuts.
I saw this yesterday and I was so impressed. This mv is a piece of art. I too think that's a good choice for them to wear pure white clothes, and this scenic make up really gives that feel, like they were taken straight from some performance at the theater.
Imo this song is quite nice, but I still need to hear more songs by SVT's units.

seventeen just keep getting better and better 2017 is really the year for them im so proud of them and to be called a carat theyre so great i love them.
The mv was absolutely inSANE. THE CHOREOGRAPHY WAS GORGEOUS. Props to whoever choreographed it. I also really liked the track- it seemed like some sort of breakthrough for me.

the choreo was great, specially the first part and the clock, but i wished the camera wasnt doing the shaky effect (or whatever it is called) so much or did a wide shot in some parts instead of close ones. anyway, i remembered one yt reactor, who was reviewing BTS' Save Me MV making, commenting that the camera used for one-take mv weighed like 30 lbs. jeez. so, props for the guy holding the camera👏👏

the camera is EXTREMELY heavy, holding it for 10 seconds makes my muscle sore so yea definitely props for them
Ahhh this did not disappoint! I loved their dancing and yes, it was shot in Brooklyn, New York! I agree that song wise I liked Trauma and Change up more but I loved the dancing in this. I agree that the choreography has an almost haunting effect. I also liked the filtered look of the video. I think it made the boys stand out more in their all white outfits and brought an interesting mood to the video. Dino is my favorite in this by far!

I loved the song and choreography in general, it just bothers me how light Jun's foundation was on his face.... this needs to stop!!!

First of all, I love your page and you. Second of all, SVT has to be my bias wrecker group and to see you Stan them as well makes me happy. Third of all, I love this song and the way you reacted to the songs, choreo and more made me happy. Like every time you reacted in a big way LITERALLY WAS ME. SVT performance group left me speechless. I found out about this song today literally on Christmas Eve. I seen it show up and mutals posted about it but I never really check it out and today I seen it and was like WHY NOT. I don't regret watching it at all. Thank you for really appreciating art. Also, the electric guitar when they rolled their hips was just AMAZING and I had the same reaction like it was perfectly choreographered.

For me to be honest this was by far my favorite of the mv's so far. I absolutely loved the visuals, love the song, and I honestly can't stop listening to it. I do love listening to your opinions though I'm so happy china line is getting more recognition especially my boy Minghao. Jun's falsetto got me so shook I was not prepared for it whatsoever. Dino was just honestly great for this song you can tell he was just feeling it. Hoshi is just pure sin ok and I feel like out of anyone he didnt get nearly as many parts as I expected him to I think I saw in some lyric videos maybe twice he got solo pieces and none of them were long. 100% agree give my boy more screen time he stands out so much and is great for centers. Sorry I'm done I just love this mv and song so much.

The choreography wasn't quite MJ, but reminded me of Taemins dance style. I know Taemin bases his style off of MJ, but he does have his own flare with it and the perf unit was able to catch the fluidity he normally has.
For the music, the song had four, maybe five changes in it? Music production wise, it was incredibly complex but it flowed so well together, everything cohesive. Woozi, having experience with the multiple changes in one song, I wonder if he did it or if Hoshi helped again. If so, holy crap!
Everything else I had thought was expressed in the video, nice work. Except about the ranking, I think this goes above Trauma for me

I think the cinematography switch in style isn't just to showcase the choreography, but to have a drastically different style from the Nu'est W comeback tomorrow (Those teasers are crazy). Anyway, the choreography actually showcases Seventeen's greatest strength dance-wise: their attention to fine details as opposed to going for big moves. Song-wise, it reminds me why Performance Unit is probably the group I want to see most have a Unit only comeback. With a single track, they have to have something they can make a good choreography for, not just sounding good. If they had a comeback to themselves, we could hear some sidetracks where they don't have to design the song to be sung while doing crazy choreo.

The Performance Team is my fave even having one bias on each team (not on porpouse, just happened), their songs and well, performances, are always so unique and good... when I think about who's gonna carry Taemin's legacy in the future, they're always the 1st choice in my head.

Hi PD, this is super late lol but I noticed how shocked you were about Jun's voice. He participated in a chinese show with Minghao (Yanan from Pentagon also participated) a while ago and performed a rewritten/ his own version of Thanks. It's such a powerful performance because he arranged it to his vocals and focused it mainly on his singing abilities. The name of the song is called Wo Ming Bai in mandarin and it means I understand. Throughout the videos I've seen of you, I thought that this song may speak to you closely but obviously that's your view on it. I 120% recommend it if you haven't seen it yet. Minghao also performs his own version of Clap, the show is a great way to get to know more about chinaline's vocals if you're interested :) The show is called The Collaboration or Chao Yin Zhan Ji
