- In OSRS, midgame is where you start really feeling short on gp to progress to your goals. Fortuntately, there are some great money makers for the midgame, and I made a list of the top 5 best monsters to hunt for money in this stage.

The best way through the mid game in my opinion is to just forget making money all-together.
It'll come naturally with your current progression. As you complete quests, tasks, achievements and level your skills, you should be accumulating a steady wealth while also enabling yourself to keep the gear upgrades attainable.
Once you hit "the wall", I like to call it, when attaining new gear upgrades and levels become tediously difficult and expensive, and most of the content is locked behind things you haven't attained, that's when it's time to start building your "passive" income.
Here's what necessary to break through this wall.
A decent farming routine
Kingdom of misc
Fossil island and birdhouses unlocked
Achievements diaries at least all medium completion (for zeke battlestaff especially).
Slayer progressed at least level 65 & unlock "bigger and badder" ASAP. It's a n inevitable ROI for when the RNG gods decide to bless your loot table with an item valued over 50M.
Play smarter, not harder.
Why spend 300+ hours farming dragons when you could "potentially" only need to spend 3 hours killing the right monster? Slayer makes you money. It might not be immediately obvious, but it can PAY OUT.
Utilise passive income to support Slayer
Use Slayer to raise combat skills for late game & roll your luck on huge rewards.
Rinse & repeat.
I barely even play runecape. Maybe 1 or 2 hours a day on my mobile. I do a Slayer task, a farming run, birdhouses and dailies. Then log out.
Passively on a weekly basis I earn at least over 2 mill. That's not including the money I make when I decide to grind Slayer. (Yesterday I dropped a draconic vissage)
Over time, with these gameplay habits embedded, your account will begin to grow exponentially and then become self sustaining.

So its nothing crazy but i got a wyrm task then a gargoryle task and knocked them both out in about any hour Or so and made like 1.5 mil easy, i dont use prayer postions just sharks for food which are cheap and some stamina potions so literally no overhead, just straight melee (im lvl 96, 78 in all melee stats and 81 hit points) maybe i just has some good/lucky runs but i was astonished how easy it was and how much i was making for literally doing nothing. Also kurasks were dropping coconuts and some other notes fruit and were like 40-50k a drop i think ended up with like 300k in coconuts lmao but i also pick up everything wyrm bones and anything over 1000gp in value alotbof back and forth but ive made like 3 mil in 2 days and gained alot of xp. I know no ones asking but i just got back into runescape after being away for almost 2 years after my best friend died who was my partner for scaping and just really happy to be back doing what we both love im also on mobile so im grinding literally when ever and wherever i can which probably helps
Yeah kurasks are good money too. For me, they've been more profitable than gargs even.

I used to play this game as a teenager, everything was such a grind!! I'm so surprised it has stood the test of time!

They consider 70-75 mid game as that's where it starts to take 100k XP between levels. In the 90s it starts becoming a mil XP between levels.
Lvl 99 is 13m XP
LVL 75 is 1.2m xp
LVL 92 is technically the halfway point At 6.5m xp
75-80 isn’t that bad, that’s where I am. 50m is isn’t bad either. Early game sucks ass so I recommend just buying 3 bonds, using one and selling the others. This gets you more than you need to train/start making money.
I'm working on becoming an essence runner to fund my progression. When I kill things like dragons, farm herbs or fish I tend to use those to level up my skills instead of selling them.
If you can get 75-80 ranged and finish DS2, which honestly doesn’t have that many requirements, you can do Vorkath which is definitely the best midgame money maker imo. You can pretty consistently get 2 kill trips with these stats, which is upwards of 1m per hour.
Or you can even do Muspah, which is a little bit harder mechanically but still not bad at all. It's even better money than Vorkath at 80+ ranged and defence.
I'm ngl muspah is much easier than vork as long as u do step back+thrall and range only i got like a bunch of free xp to get to 86 range,but this could be a bias issue for me since I am using d bolts at muspah vs vork where I use normal e bolts
@@tonynguyen8166 Muspah requires a lot more actions at once. Towards the end you have to flick prayer and also move away from the spikes. The punishment is massive if you miss a mage prayer flick. Vorkath doesn’t really have any tough mechanics at all to me.

You don't even need all 3 combat styles for Barrows, especially with any powered staff.
Just have the trident, whatever melee gear you want, and I usually opt to have a non-negative magic attack modifier but it's not terribly important due to most brothers having nonexistent magic defense. Swap to melee for Ahrim (mage). Karil has non-zero magic defense due to the fact that the brothers use the gear they drop, but as long as your modifier isn't negative you'll be fine. I kill Karil with melee most of the time though since my melee stats are pretty high, you can really just use whichever style is a higher level for you.
I start with Dharok because he's the main brother you need to pray against. Karil and Ahrim are next on the priority for prayer usage, the other brothers you can tank with decent melee gear. I typically don't bring more than one prayer potion because I only use it if the brother guarding the chest is one of the 3 that requires prayer. Otherwise I just start with the 3 priority brothers and let my prayer drain. Alternatively, if you have Medium combat achievement diary, you can bring Ghommal's Hilt 2 and you won't have your prayer drained in the Barrows.
Really helps to have the Morytania Hard diary if you don't have the magic level to put Barrows teleport in your POH, and for the doubled rune drops that will infinitely sustain your trident. You'll easily get enough leftover gold for the fire runes too.

these are some good early game money makers haha I wouldn’t consider barrows “mid game” for most people.
It’s not really mid game but I feel like lms is slept on as a quick easy money maker. Plenty of bots to get at least a kill in every game. Usually end up with 2 points a game even if you’re not that skilled, obvi more if you can win
Uh for me an average chest is more like 50k-40k wothout diary. I often get 3k-20k chests with dry periods (no set pieces) for 20+ chests sometimes. I still love this method regardless, always have.
The average takes into account the prices of the items when you get them. It is a calculated value based on the drop rate, not what you will get each time
@@Opop901LP you just said 2 different things equal the same thing. Yes i was talking about the average loot i got at the current market prices and also my luck. I realize there is a calculated average, however i merely meant my luck has not been even close to on par lately.

I feel that.. I've done 180 chests now and for stretches of 30-40 chests I'd get 5-20k chests frequently.
I use zero supplies at barrows beside the runes to tp to house. Tp to house when out of prayer and the barrows portal back. Prosetlye with trident and dds swap for ahrims.
I would recommend Vyres!
They are nice and afk but a little bit crowded
Barrows is nice too but it can be a little frustrating without unique drops.. I tried it and the GP was only 200k per hour without any uniques :/
In my experience I also suggest trying to get at least 1 Zulrah kill to access elite void and going to kill Vorkath with ranged gear. You don't really need rigour or dragonhuner crossbow to get 1-2mil profits per hour then. Suggested combat stats would be around 75-80 (the higher the better) mage [for less damage against ice attack] and ranged [for better accuracy and damage].
Best reason why to do it is because Vorkath is consistent money-maker and it's mad easy. Sometimes rng can fck u and it's not as easy to afk (but later on it's possible).
Vorkath is definitely good money, but Dragon Slayer II has some pretty high requirements, which is mostly why I decided to skip it in the mid-game video.

I mean I started building my account with barrows and slayer:Ddd But since I lost my graceful set in wilderness I'm a player who has trauma and never wants to go there again... Never did unless it's completely necessary. So just wanted to share, because I always thought that Vorkath and DS2 are very difficult and it proved to be false.
@@snowmanofpoopp when going wildy before heading out always check the view items kept on death tab and enable the skull prevention unless ur going to pk obviously
I did almost 1k barrows and never used melee :) always running there in full blessed d'hide with magic shortbow (i) with rune arrows, thats for Ahrim and skeletons/others monsters and the only switch is trident + occult necklace. Maybe a noob way, idk, but even easier and more relaxing :)
Same but I swap blessed d'hide for ahrim's/mage gear because the magic attack stats on blessed d'hide is atrocious
@@mattyveeh magic attack isn't important for barrows cuz their very low magic defense. Magic strength is what you should aim for.

revs work fine for me at 77 range with blowpipe and only adamant darts makes the upkeep far cheaper

If you're praying, why use super combat? It's not a huge difference but if you make a guide on it, why not just say use super str n attack? Some people probably need to save that money.

Try sneaking your way into some FFA raids & try your luck. Since there will be so many people nobody will notice your levels & gear. Maybe you snipe a super unique and all the money is yours for the keeping. :)

Great video but I feel like you are forgetting that in order to make profit you need to bank, which was greatly reduce kills per hour for some of these
Heads up - I always included banking in my test runs, so also the estimated kills/h includes banking!
