Just got off work at 5:30pm made it home and changed now I’m sitting in front of the gym at 6:05pm, I made a choice to lose 60 pounds, I’ve lost 30 and gained back 10. The truth is it’s just a choice, Day one or one day.
I don't think "You're fat and You're black." was actually even meant to be a racist remark, I think he was saying that considering how fat he was at the time(Which meant that he was also less likely to be able to float underwater which is one of the Navy Seal Criterias.) He wasn't capable of making it there unless he trained EXTREMELY hard which was nigh-impossible at the time considering his weight. As for the 'You're black' Part, it's most likely because as mentioned by David Goggins himself, we're less likely to float as well. Because most, are negative buoyant.
