This was far more entertaining than I thought it would be!! Man, it's been over 10 years since I've played a wrestling game and probably longer since I did a GM mode and it's crazy how much goes into these things now! Really awesome, might have to pick this up on sale lol.

I’m a bit late. But damn Jerry Hatrick won people hearts despite being a heel. Danielle Wallace (truly underrated) and Beth Spartan put a banger. Penelope Perfect is a jobber version of John Cena. I’m happy Kyle Slickman got a W after team up with Jerry. I feel bad for Jackson Smooth.
Other youtubers would be happy to just make this a challenge video but man you really sell this. I'm a fan of the classics though, Slickman is still the GOAT in my eyes.
22:44 So the mygm rankings take a bit of time to update, so since you got the 2nd hall of fame trophy before Mick Foley it put you in first as the game hadn't updated to take into account that Mick Foley had collected the 2nd hall of fame trophy
Hey in case you weren't aware you can make your own custom drafts. To do this, when you're getting everything set up before you start the draft you can choose to use your own custom draft pool in which you can toggle any superstar eligible and ineligible for the draft. This includes every jobber which can be toggled on to be drafted at the start
Dang, I got so invested, now I kinda want to see the fallout in Season 2. Despite knowing this is a one and done thing.

I wish there was a bit more freedom to create stories. I don’t like being penalized just for putting a fighter and fighter or a bruiser and cruiser together even though it could make a great match and story.
@Paul Hord agreed, I think it should be about wrestlers chemistry together n not there classes
@@thedeadlynose5127 I don’t mind the classes but I feel like it should a secondary condition after how well the two are together. Like if you’re low on fighters and don’t have any good chemistry, you can put the opposite classes together and still get an okay-good rating, especially if you back them up with a good match style.
@@paulhord8081tbh I had to put a fighter against a cruiser as midcard filler before and they developped a rivalry and even got me a 4.5 star match at PLE. I even got a tweet from a fan along the lines of "this goes to prove that even with mismatched classes X can put on a great show" (forgot who it was)
Bro WWE needs to hire you. This was what seemed like a hopeless situation into a doable one. I was actually invested in these superstars half way through. Here have a sub. +1 Fan

Man what a video. I haven't watched wrestling since Randy Orton was in Evolution so it's been a long while, I forgot how engaging these storylines are. Kudos for putting it together and making it great! We've seen the jobbers succeed, but the real question is... Can a star studded roster make it if they're only ever allowed to perform in a high school gymnasium? Gym class challenge!

I believe the reason you were in first was that the game values money a little bit. So if you're behind in fans and it's close but have a way higher budget you'll get the edge. Not 100% sure on the specific numbers though
Nah. It has to do more with the Hall of Fame Trophys. If you have more trophys than your GM opponents, you'll be in first place; no matter how low you are with fans.

Alrighty, so for that weird first place bug, I would guess that you had earned your second trophy the week before and it takes a week to apply. So you were all on 1, you earned a second, it bumped you the following week, but then Mick earned one the week yours was applied so it wouldn't count until the following week. I'm sure as I continue watching, that exact thing will unfold and Mick will get bumped back up next week
